Honestly, you can't go wrong here. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect (for casual or romantic diners). The bar has great drinks, and the service is usually top notch, however was a little slower than usual tonight. Either way, the meal and drinks were good overall. Big Mike's has several rooms you can use for your private event. There is no charge based on the number of people you have. We had around 15 this time but next year, look out. There are several fixed menus to choose from. For us, we went all out and got the $27 per person menu. Talk about a steal. It even included a ribeye and baked potato and everyone got a salad and cheesecake. The food all came out at the same time and my steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. You can add booze if you choose and their prices are very reasonable. Even though I paid the bill I have no idea what drinks cost but I do know one of the chocolate martinis someone drank was like $2-5 and double bourbons were super cheap for what we received. We did go to the bar next door after the party. There was a band and a bunch of interesting and friendly folks. If you need a private meal location, add Big Mike's to your list.
