It is rare to find a group of people that are dedicated to uplifting each other, people who sincerely care about their peers, and people who unconditionally go out of their way to support one another like we have experienced at Sitan Gym. The coaches each offer unique skills to enhance the training and improve participant's ability and competence. The Sitan Gym atmosphere is family friendly (especially the gym dog Holly) and is comfortable to train at regardless of age or experience. The gym prioritizes community which is apparent by the holiday celebrations and acknowledgments. Our sincere gratitude to all of the Sitan Gym staff and volunteers for contributing to make a great community for Muay Thai training at Sitan Gym.

I trained privately with Travis for a matter of some months multiple times a week and everyone there was always friendly and nice and I'm a pretty quiet no-small talk kinda guy. I also interacted with Thiago a handful of times and he was always open and engaging every single time. This is without a doubt, the PREMIER location in Arizona if you want to learn the art of eight limbs whether it's through private or public instruction. The only reason I stopped going was due to some health complications I got that prohibited me from continuing training because I loved every damn minute of it.

I have been training in martial arts for almost 30 years and i have learned more about striking in…read morethe few months I've been here than in all my other years combined! Golden Era Muay Thai is one of the absolutely rare martial arts training centers that can work with absolute beginners with no experience all the way through professional fighters. The workouts are amazing and the instruction is top notch. The students here are extremely helpful and encouraging, i have gotten great tips from extremely talented and advanced students whose only intention is in helping me to improve. I have already recommended this location to several friends and family members, some of whom want to actually spar and some who just want to train in a great atmosphere with drills and pads and amazing instruction , but have no interest in sparring. Everyone i have recommended has thanked me.

Many of the students were welcoming, and some of the other coaches were helpful and encouraging. Unfortunately, my interactions with Bob made the experience difficult to continue. I came in wanting to learn, improve, and get a good workout, but I often left feeling unwelcome and stressed. His communication style felt unnecessarily harsh, and I didn't feel like there was much room for honest mistakes or questions. The process of cancelling my membership ultimately reinforced my decision to leave. What should have been a straightforward process felt unnecessarily difficult, largely because it required communicating directly with the owner and there seemed to be very little flexibility in how cancellations were handled. Even after cancelling, I did not receive the full 30 days of access I expected to have remaining on my membership. It was a frustrating experience and left me disappointed with how things were managed. While that coaching style and environment may work for some people, it wasn't a good fit for me. I appreciate what I learned during my time there, but the experience here was ultimately disappointing, and it's not a place where I wanted to continue training.

You can just tell he loves his work and who he works for. He made me feel comfortable instantly. Then there's Molly, my boxing teacher. Let me just say - I hit the JACKPOT when it comes to my first boxing experience. She was kind, patient, empathetic, easy to talk to, and real. She is a badass with a wealth of knowledge and experience, but also so humble and generous with her time and energy. I truly cannot thank Molly enough for the best first experience. I will definitely be returning to Undisputed!

I was let go from this gym after speaking up about misconduct. That alone should tell you…read moreeverything. The training is solid, that's the only reason this is one star. But the culture is toxic in ways that took me a while to fully see. Staff who are married or in relationships openly engage in inappropriate behavior with members. That's the baseline here. What's not tolerated is being a serious, independent athlete with your own voice. I had ideas for the gym regarding gear, content, improvements, that were taken and pitched by others as their own. No credit, no acknowledgment. Your place here is determined by how compliant you are, not how hard you work or how talented you are. Speak up, and you're out. Most importantly: I would not send any young girl here. I raised concerns about staff behavior toward young female members and was removed for it. If a gym's response to someone speaking up about safety is to silence them, that is not a safe environment. I came here to train and compete. I left because I refused to stay silent. If you're a serious athlete, especially a young woman, you deserve better than this.
