    Elevation Worship party

I came here tonight to get our Praise and Worship on with Elevation Worship. It is a great venue, but I question some poor decision-making. It's clear you go through a screening process to enter the venue, and then you are subjected to the highway robbery of concession prices. What puts insult to injury is that even after spending a mortgage payment for a bottle of water, we are not permitted to take the very bottle of water we purchased in the venue to our seats. The usher provided a cup to pour the contents of the bottle into. Absolute poor decision making!

The outdoor vibe after a rainy afternoon made for the perfect breeze. I have been to many summer concerts here and it is stiffeling! Now on to the best part Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald and RobertCray Band. Oh and 4 th row seats! The music and friends made the evening perfect!

Our visit here to see Rod Stewart had both great highs and seriously bad lows. I'm partially disabled but don't always require a wheelchair. That particular evening, unfortunately, it was a must. There was a separate entry for those concert goers needing assistance which was nice to see and made going through the safety checks and crowds a breeze. We paid a lot to get good seats, not knowing that the venue was small enough and structured so that most every seat was a pretty darn good one. Live and learn. We were directed to our seats and realized then, that although we were extremely close to the stage, we were the only section that was created by adding folding chairs and all were located at the same grade. So if someone, anyone or everyone stood up your view was GONE. Considering I had to remain seated, - I saw nothing. If I had the ability to stand, most of the stage would still be obstructed by the crowds. Seats further back all were graduated so it was so much easier to see everything. We had no choice but to abandon our "premium" seats and retreat to the area reserved for wheelchairs. During this transfer and any visit to the restroom, the staff and visitors I encountered were gracious, helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you to all. And the big disappointing experience? When Rod Stewart emerged on stage, many concert goers rushed to their seats, some not knowing where they even were. There was a backup of folks, confusion, and loud disruptive conversations. What a mess. We could not even enjoy the first couple performances because of this. Considering the age group we expected to see, we were shocked that some mature guests behaved like selfish children, with no concern that they were disrupting the enjoyment of other concert goers. Is it that hard to be seated before the performance? Once we changed to the different section, we did encounter some staff that were not so knowledgeable about the amphitheater and ramps for the disabled. One young man said stairs were my only option and so we struggled through. On our way back, my husband easily spotted the ramp we needed to take to get back to the wheelchair section. Educate your staff. Please. No one would have believed Rod Stewart was 80 years young. He had great energy, a strong voice and still busted out some cool moves. The various instruments like the sax, the violins and the harp could be heard with great clarity. We thought the sound quality was awesome. Twenty one songs and four costume changes. He truly was and still is a legend. We would definitely return here in the cooler months to enjoy a concert or two.

Great seating for good views can get tight if it is a packed house. Very little air gets in so bring your fan it can get hot. Sound is good next time I will get loge seating for more breathing room.

Finally had the chance to go to a show at Daily's Place, and wow!! What a great venue!! Getting dropped off in an uber was a hot mess (same as Vystar Arena) - does nobody uber here?! We got dropped off in the literal middle of the street and ran across traffic to the gate. I had no idea this was connected to the Jaguars football stadium. What a fun surprise. The set up is so cool and like no other venue I've seen before! This is similar size to one of our favorite venues, Stage AE in Pittsburgh, so I was excited to find a new spot that I plan to frequent. There were SO many concession stands open in Daily's Place and also Everbank Stadium. We even walked out right next to the field and could take photos. I have never been to the stadium before, so this was really exciting for us! We went in the club level and took photos of the field and stadium before the show started. The ushers helped us find our seats for the Dirty Heads/ Slightly Stoopid concert and we were surprised to have actual seats! I thought it would be standing room. The show was so good and the sound was great. The giant fans kept the air circulating despite it being very hot and lots of people smoking. The view of the sunset over the palm trees in the distance was the perfect scenery to a beautiful summer outdoor concert. This was one of my favorite shows and memories from being in Jacksonville. We had such a great time! We did get popcorn and a water, and it was pretty wild to scan your credit card, take the concessions, and leave. It knew what we ordered! The future! Drinks are expensive as all stadiums are, but we had a great time. Loved seeing local Brackish Vodka there too! They are the best! 5 star experience and 5 star venue.

Summer concert season kicked of with my 1st Tedeschi Trucks Band and 1st visit to Daily's Place! Free parking in lot J alongside the venue was very convenient. The property is well maintained and clean. Staff working this event were courteous, helpful, friendly and professional. Shoutout to Nicole working as one of the floor level ushers for her kindness along with here fellow employees! Excited to be returning in July for another concert and enjoy this venue's concert experience!

This is my second event at Daily's. I literally think any seat in this arena is good from the upstairs seating to the front row seats. The arena is a good size, and has a great selection of drinks and food. Parking is very convenient. My recent event I went to started at 7:30, so I left my house at 6:30. I had about a 30 minute drive, but I was still able to get parking super easy. I got inside the arena with time to spare. The two events I went to was the Erykah Badu and HER concert. With the Erykah Badu, a storm came up which required the staff to have us evacuate to the eating area due to lightning being close. It was a little chaotic, and once thing leveled off we had to all get reseated. It cut the show short, but that's the risk with and outdoor event. With the HER concert, everything was great from parking to seating. It was a great show and the staff was very nice at the arena.

Such an amazing experience last night, that I am so grateful for my friends inviting me as I have never purchased a VIP ticket to a concert. The venue offered special parking for the VIP guest. The type of ticket we had allowed us to receive a swag bag, a question and answer session with the artists , then a pre show with appetizers and drinks , and then seats right next to the stage. All employees were wearing masks and all the areas we were in were cleaned... The bathrooms had an attendant who was in the bathroom to ensure the restrooms were sanitized. This is a large venue with multiple bars and eateries for their guest. They are are a rain or shine venue.

Nice outdoor seating area. You can tell everything is still new and clean. Every seat is a good seat. Organized for the most part and easy to find. Location- 1 daily's place Jacksonville Florida 32202. The amphitheater is open and outdoor. I was able to watch the AEW with my man. The theatre was spacious and clean. I thought the lighting for the event was awesome and the sound system was perfect. I guess the way how the theatre was built was made for great sound quality. The seats were pretty comfy as well. They also had a separate section for vip which was pretty spacious. My favorite part was definitely as I mentioned seller the special effects were awesome as well as the stage. The only thing I would say is some aircon cooling fans since it was outdoors and we do live in Florida were its always humid and hot for the most part.

Really nice quaint venue we saw Sting. Due to weather conditions our concert was delayed, not so nice for Florida daily storms. Give it a minute it will blow over. Nice selection of food and beverage. The acoustics and performance was excellent. The restroom area was melting hot even with fans blowing . Overall it was clean and nice no complaints. The price of concert was the best out of his performances so we made the drive . Well worth it, he is 70 and sounds and looks the same as the 80's when he sang!

Daily's Place was awesome. We went to AEW event, it was great, we got to see the big Shaq O'Neal wrestle Cody Rhodes. We had awesome seats up in the Terrance Suites. The food was great, the environment and scenery was unmatched. I think this place is a cool place to go watch concerts and events.

Three stars because there were ups and downs about attending 311 with the Offspring and Gym Class Heroes here. Pros: Ample parking and close drop off point for Lyft/Uber drivers. Spacious concession area with fans blowing and relatively clean bathrooms. Variety of beverages, snacks, hot food, and hard liquors. Something for everyone. Small venue!! Loved the intimacy of the pit and how close the balcony levels were behind us. Security guard Phillip was the man!! He took care of me after I fell and was the reason I bounced back. Friendly cashiers and bartenders also. Cons: Not labeled well outside. We arrived early with VIP tickets and had no idea where to go. We asked the Offspring VIP tent for guidance, and they kindly pointed out the will call window for our special wristbands. Afterward, we had to ask them where to enter. There was a security booth with two entrances yet one line... We had no way of knowing! Drink prices were kind of ridiculous. $19 for a double without garnishes. $6 for bottled water that unbeknownst to everyone wasn't even allowed inside. We were stopped and forced to pour inside of cups before re-entering. Very misleading. It was hot as balls with the sun setting upon the pit and I couldn't rely on the water bottle I paid for to keep me hydrated. Stage was tall and set back a bit from the pit because of the speakers and subwoofers. I prefer being closer to the artists. Despite the cons we still had an incredible time and would definitely revisit this venue. Live and learn situation for sure.

    Selfie with Wyclef Jean
    Michelle D.

I saw Wyclef Jean in concert last night. This was my first time in the amphitheatre and I was impressed. All the seats were positioned well so there's really not a bad seat in your house. I like that it's a smaller venue which makes it a more intimidate experience. Not many food choices which was a little disappointing. But the loaded nachos for $5, did the trick to kill my hunger and didn't break the bank. They also served pretzels and hot dogs. Plus, since it's Daily's you can find chips and candy, etc. Drinks are very pricey. It's like you are at a Jags game. Premium beer for $12. Top shelf double shot drinks for $19, which was only two dollars more than the bottom shelf double shot drink. So it was a no-brainer! The ladies room only had one soap dispenser working which was annoying. But at least there was toilet paper and the bathroom was pretty clean. The music was masterfully blended and sounded amazing! Kudos to the sound team and engineers who worked this concert! I will definitely go back to Daily's Place for another show!

Ask the Community - Daily's Place

I know parking isn't open until 3 hours before show but are fans allowed to line up at venue even if parking lot is closed? Or does everyone have to wait until parking lot is open? Just worried about crazed fans lining up HOURS before

It depends. I've always experienced lines. Sometimes long lines, some short. If it's rainy the staff may open the gates earlier.

    Hoe wide are the seats?

They are like regular stadium seats.

What is the food drink situation like?

They have beer, wine, mixed drinks, soft drinks. Basically anything you'd want but very pricey.

Does anyone know if it's open air or it has ac?

It's open air however, the seating is covered from the sun and rain for the most part. I went to the Train concert and there was a slight breeze.

There is a building I pass every day near my home which caught my eye right away. Its stone façade and bright yellow sign flanked by two Medieval Knights, with the words "The Arena" across it in large block lettering stood out in comparison to its neighbors, a church and a discount furniture store. I quickly put on my detective cap and began scouring the internet for any explanation or reviews but information was sparse. I eventually found the website... The Arena | Jacksonville's Premiere Concert Venue... "The Arena is definitely one of Jacksonville's premiere and edgiest night scenes. With four stages, and full audio-surround sound, you will be blown away..." I ear marked it as a place to check out in the future. As Halloween grew closer The Arena began to look more and more like an off-beat community haunted attraction. A giant, ominous, clown face appeared over the door along with some additional lights and carnival décor. A new sign was added, "Carnevil". Of course I got back on the internet and found, "Welcome to Carnevil! The darkest and final act of the circus empire..." From the description it sounded pretty scary, I don't really do scary, but it was Halloween and we had no other plans and it was FREE. Now let me tell you, the free thing immediately set off some red flags, nothing is free but curiosity got the best of us. We invited some friends, put on our costumes and headed to the Arena but it was completely full and they sent us away with priority tickets for the next showing. Sunday night just my fiancé and I went back. Like I said, I don't really do scary well and as I stood in line my heart was racing. They announce that we are about to go in and once we are inside we will not be allowed to leave until the end. Honestly, we were half convinced that this place lures unsuspecting people in and keeps them forever... how else does a "Premiere Concert Venue" have almost no internet presence and NO reviews? The whole experience started off great. Creepy ghosts shambled through the lines, small groups were let into the theatre at a time, entering through a miniature haunted maze with all the scares and screams as a professional haunted house. There were plenty of scares for the audience while we waited for the show to start. The play had a great campy/spooky community theatre feel complete with frightening clowns, quality makeup, sound and lighting effects. Over and over I kept thinking, "How is this free?" and then it started... "drugs", "sex", "rebelling against authority"... "sin". Suddenly I realized I was at church. A preacher dressed as a cop stood center stage asking the audience to raise their hands, come up and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to avoid a hell worse than the clown camp we just witnessed. I want to be clear... I do not have a problem with this being a church function; I appreciate the local church for pulling together a great community event... I do have a problem with being completely ambushed. Nowhere on TheArenaJax.com does it mention its affiliation with Victory Church. To solicit itself as one of the country's premier, edgy music venue, "showcasing a spectrum of internationally renowned artists" is more than slightly misleading. I have to say, I felt a bit violated to be lured into what appeared to be a fun community theatre, told I could not leave until it was over and then force fed a religious message while adults in scary masks and makeup stood blocking the exit. Here is the TL;DR: The production quality is great for a free event. I really enjoyed the first hour and a half of my experience. I would even encourage people to check out one of their events but be advised... this is a religious venue affiliated with its neighboring church. You will be held inside the building and asked to approach the stage to accept their message.

I am not one to like scary things but after seeing the show I had to see it again. The storyline and characters are well-made and very nice people. They put all they had into making this show work and after the show you get to meet them and get to know them personally. The theatrics of it were stunning and very luring and the sound effects blew me away. I loved how well the actors dressed up and scared people. They'd pop out of the dark, they sang along to hit songs from Slipknot and they made it a very good memorable experience. Along with the thrills they made some funny remarks during the show which made it more enjoyable and fun. If they were able to keep the show going on for more days I would go to all of them. For free it was worth it- if I had to pay, it would've been totally worth it. At the end of the show there was a part where a character made a statement about being "lost" and how he was able to come to terms with himself. Yes, they help people to believe but even if you aren't into Christianity or religion at all it didn't matter. They wanted people to remember the show and to tell everyone else back home about it. They wanted to inspire people to not be afraid and to become more than what people think of you. They don't force any part of religion on anyone and they don't force people into a prayer at all. They merely want to help people and for the people who were just there for the show, they got to see how much hard work and dedication the actors put into this to make it fun and memorable and thrilling. I absolutely loved it and would go to many more shows for the rest of my life for the experience. Amazing job well done.

Nets are up at each end zone which allows the ball to bounce back in. Although, sometimes it does get past the net and into the crowd, but it's always thrown back in. They have a very nice jumbotron in the center which is very clear, but it's not really necessary b/c for these arena football games, there's not really a bad seat in the house. But you are at a sporting event, so do you really expect any thing less?! =) I can't compare it to any other arena football "fields" because I haven't seen any others, but this one is pretty darn cool, so when and if I ever do see another one, it'll have a lot to live up to.
