I enjoyed the atmosphere The fans make it special. Unlike a lot of fans in other places, these people are not self centered drunken self important jerks. They are enjoying a game. They support the Jags, but are not obnoxious or fighting. The stadium is being remodled. The concourses are ancient and cramped. Hot Dog bun was STALE. DUUUUVAL!

I didn't get to view a game here or an event, but I didn't get to explore and walk around and check out the area. I did like to see all the cool things that offered a public art that sounds it. They were currently doing a renovation while I was there so I didn't get to do as much as I would like.

Who doesn't Love a Tailgate Party. I was honored to be invited by my brother to join his company's party. They are all Dawg fans I am not! Go GATORS!! The family RV and set up was amazing and easily accommodating dated a very large crowd of attendees that roamed in and out. What a great time!

Jags game against the New York Jets.

It's a stadium and not much to say but when I go to a jags game the excitement is there as well as the support. It can definitely be overwhelming with lots of people and pretty loud at some points but again it something that comes with the stadium. It's very well policed during games and definitely feel safe. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy myself somewhat.

I'm a huge Jags fan since 1996 and have seen the stadium changes over the years -it's such a great place for a game!! It has some of the largest Jumbotrons in the NFL and two swimming pools !! The terrace suites and gallagher clubs are top notch and there are many varieties of foods to eat from gourmet to handhelds for the pickiest of fans! The newly added massive staircase called The Grand Staircase One is a great addition completed before the Monday night game this year!!.The entire stadium is currently being renovated and the team will be displaced next season until it is complete.. with the amphitheater and practice fields this renovation is the vision for the future as a world class sports and entertainment destination. Its so exciting to see it grow!

This is a beautiful stadium with multiple entrances and ample parking. While I visited during an off season, I do look forward to catching a game here!

First time at EverBank Stadium. It was a great time. The entry process was smooth and simple.

One of the older stadiums. Easy parking access near and within walking distant. Just know you have ONE hour to exit parking before they lock it down. So don't get stuck in the ramps! Easy access entrance and leaving. Friendly staff.

We drove 3.5 hours to watch the Jaguars vs Jets! The stadium is pretty old and seats are that of typical football stadium seats, hard and uncomfortable. The staff were actually pretty welcoming and very helpful. The restrooms were surprisingly clean and didn't have an awful odor. Concession stand; Al's pizza was a dud. Not made fresh to order, Flat, greasy, and overpriced. There was another stand called "island cheer" that sold cheese burger with fries. They cook food fresh and the fries were crispy and tasty.

    We had really great seats!

I went to my first Jags game, and it was such a fun time! It's always interesting to go to a different city and experience a sports game. To top it off, we had great seats! We sat in section 7, which was right next to the tunnel where the Jaguars team enters and exits the field. The seats were also a little more comfortable than some other sections. For a day in late November, we had perfect weather. The crowd was great. Everyone was so friendly. I personally wasn't favoring either team because there were players I liked on both teams. Overall, I had a fun time and would definitely go to a Jags game again. I'd love to check out every NFL stadium, so I'm glad I got to check this one off the list.

Pretty amazing stadium. From what I hear, they are adding more seats, which is crazy cuz it's already pretty damn big. My husband and I went here for a Christ Stapleton & George Strait and it was packed. Definitely the place to have it as I'm sure it would be impossible for any typical venue to hold this concert, without needing to have a show multiple nights in a row to accommodate. The only thing is that it's open roof, so the sun can definitely be very bright, and it can get pretty warm. Thankfully, the main acts did not play until later in the evening. Still a pretty nice stadium.

    Great seats

The stadium had ample security and helpful staff to show us where to go. Plenty of food choices... we selected loaded nachos... delicious!! Exciting the stadium was no problem

Attended my very first Jags game at Everbank Stadium recently, and had so much fun! We were a little confused at first because the tickets said to enter a specific gate, but we learned we could enter at any gate. The staff were friendly and quickly scanned us in. Don't forget your clear purse for this venue! We had tickets on the Terrace Suite level, and the entrance was very nice. We got our wristbands and were good to go. This experience includes all you can eat and drink (beer/wine). The food was really good! It is not just football stadium food like you'd think. I had oyster shooters, prosecco, salmon, sushi, dessert from the chocolate fountain, and honestly so much more. Our actual seats were high up and the people around us were drunk and obnoxious. The stadium itself is located super conveniently to downtown. The coolest part about it was seeing the people watch the game from a SWIMMING POOL! Only in Jacksonville. So wild! I know they are trying to build a new stadium, but honestly this one felt fine. Fun time!

The 1st row of the bleachers cost the most right? Then why was that row 3 inches deep in water? And nothing done about it?

Ask the Community - EverBank Stadium

Do I need to purchase parking before the event or are their plenty locations day of event?

There is usually ample parking the day of event.

Where can i get jags fan stuff? any roadside vendors around? in jax? i'm in the north end thx

There are Fabrics gear in each of the club's on the the 2nd level and on the concourse as well. During the week I'm not sure if the stores in the club's are open. I know for sure that the other ones are only open die ing the game.

The "field" or "arena" is pretty darn amazing and they do an awesome job at converting it. The field is 50 yards long (with maybe another 5 yards for each end zone) and is narrow. There's protective padding up around the entire field to not only protect the players, but also to protect the fans who happen to be sitting in the first row (or even first few rows). Nets are up at each end zone which allows the ball to bounce back in. Although, sometimes it does get past the net and into the crowd, but it's always thrown back in. They have a very nice jumbotron in the center which is very clear, but it's not really necessary b/c for these arena football games, there's not really a bad seat in the house. Concessions are, of course, astronomical. We paid $19 for 1 soda, 1 beer, and 1 order of nachos. Yea.... like I said... astronomical. But you are at a sporting event, so do you really expect any thing less?! =) I can't compare it to any other arena football "fields" because I haven't seen any others, but this one is pretty darn cool, so when and if I ever do see another one, it'll have a lot to live up to.

Veteran's…read moreMemorial Arena is converted into Sea Best Field, which is a fifty yard field with padded walls surrounding its entirety. The walls serve as protection for players and fans alike. The small size of the field allows for fans to see the action on the field clearly no matter where their seats are located. The jumbotron in the center of the arena is a decent size and is very clear. The goalposts are much smaller and it became obvious that extra points weren't going to be simple to come by, as the Sharks kicker missed two PATs right off the bat! The concession prices are well..sports event prices ($5.00 nachos, $6.00 soda in souvenir cup with $1.00 refills on day of purchase, and a $8.00 bottled beer). I highly suggest eating before hand if at all possible, unless you have extra money set aside for the game! We hope to attend another Sharks game in the future!

I moved to Jacksonville recently from California and I am always on the lookout for new places to…read morecheck out. There is a building I pass every day near my home which caught my eye right away. Its stone façade and bright yellow sign flanked by two Medieval Knights, with the words "The Arena" across it in large block lettering stood out in comparison to its neighbors, a church and a discount furniture store. I quickly put on my detective cap and began scouring the internet for any explanation or reviews but information was sparse. I eventually found the website... The Arena | Jacksonville's Premiere Concert Venue... "The Arena is definitely one of Jacksonville's premiere and edgiest night scenes. With four stages, and full audio-surround sound, you will be blown away..." I ear marked it as a place to check out in the future. As Halloween grew closer The Arena began to look more and more like an off-beat community haunted attraction. A giant, ominous, clown face appeared over the door along with some additional lights and carnival décor. A new sign was added, "Carnevil". Of course I got back on the internet and found, "Welcome to Carnevil! The darkest and final act of the circus empire..." From the description it sounded pretty scary, I don't really do scary, but it was Halloween and we had no other plans and it was FREE. Now let me tell you, the free thing immediately set off some red flags, nothing is free but curiosity got the best of us. We invited some friends, put on our costumes and headed to the Arena but it was completely full and they sent us away with priority tickets for the next showing. Sunday night just my fiancé and I went back. Like I said, I don't really do scary well and as I stood in line my heart was racing. They announce that we are about to go in and once we are inside we will not be allowed to leave until the end. Honestly, we were half convinced that this place lures unsuspecting people in and keeps them forever... how else does a "Premiere Concert Venue" have almost no internet presence and NO reviews? The whole experience started off great. Creepy ghosts shambled through the lines, small groups were let into the theatre at a time, entering through a miniature haunted maze with all the scares and screams as a professional haunted house. There were plenty of scares for the audience while we waited for the show to start. The play had a great campy/spooky community theatre feel complete with frightening clowns, quality makeup, sound and lighting effects. Over and over I kept thinking, "How is this free?" and then it started... "drugs", "sex", "rebelling against authority"... "sin". Suddenly I realized I was at church. A preacher dressed as a cop stood center stage asking the audience to raise their hands, come up and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to avoid a hell worse than the clown camp we just witnessed. I want to be clear... I do not have a problem with this being a church function; I appreciate the local church for pulling together a great community event... I do have a problem with being completely ambushed. Nowhere on TheArenaJax.com does it mention its affiliation with Victory Church. To solicit itself as one of the country's premier, edgy music venue, "showcasing a spectrum of internationally renowned artists" is more than slightly misleading. I have to say, I felt a bit violated to be lured into what appeared to be a fun community theatre, told I could not leave until it was over and then force fed a religious message while adults in scary masks and makeup stood blocking the exit. Here is the TL;DR: The production quality is great for a free event. I really enjoyed the first hour and a half of my experience. I would even encourage people to check out one of their events but be advised... this is a religious venue affiliated with its neighboring church. You will be held inside the building and asked to approach the stage to accept their message.

I am not one to like scary things but after seeing the show I had to see it again. The storyline and characters are well-made and very nice people. They put all they had into making this show work and after the show you get to meet them and get to know them personally. The theatrics of it were stunning and very luring and the sound effects blew me away. I loved how well the actors dressed up and scared people. They'd pop out of the dark, they sang along to hit songs from Slipknot and they made it a very good memorable experience. Along with the thrills they made some funny remarks during the show which made it more enjoyable and fun. If they were able to keep the show going on for more days I would go to all of them. For free it was worth it- if I had to pay, it would've been totally worth it. At the end of the show there was a part where a character made a statement about being "lost" and how he was able to come to terms with himself. Yes, they help people to believe but even if you aren't into Christianity or religion at all it didn't matter. They wanted people to remember the show and to tell everyone else back home about it. They wanted to inspire people to not be afraid and to become more than what people think of you. They don't force any part of religion on anyone and they don't force people into a prayer at all. They merely want to help people and for the people who were just there for the show, they got to see how much hard work and dedication the actors put into this to make it fun and memorable and thrilling. I absolutely loved it and would go to many more shows for the rest of my life for the experience. Amazing job well done.
