Went to my second game of them playing the Jets. We had a great time. I felt safe. The fan experience was good. I was entertained. And the team is actually good this year. The national anthem was cool and the flyover was one of the best. I love that they honor their veterans many times throughout the game. The facilities are ok. I recommend using the restroom before or after at the outside stadium restrooms. There were no lines and it was well maintained. Food in the stadium is just ok. Very overpriced. Especially the fountain drinks. But overall we had a good time. Looking forward to them building a new stadium for the 2028 season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars just suffered a dumpster fire of a season in 2021. The Urban Meyer experiment was a failure. I can see why the Jags' front office hired him, though. Having been an incredibly successful college coach with ties in the area from his time at the University of Florida, Meyer and the Jags could have had a storybook ending. Hindsight is 20/20 and I'm sure everyone wants to forget and move on from the Meyer era in Jacksonville. On the bright side, the Jags drafted stud QB Trevor Lawrence out of Clemson with the first pick in the 2021 draft. As a Georgia Tech alum and ACC fan, I enjoyed watching Lawrence dominate on a national level when he was at Clemson. He led the Tigers to the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship. It'll be interesting to see how his NFL career pans out. He kind of got unlucky in that his rookie year coincided with the Meyer drama. Somewhat surprisingly, Lawrence led the NFL in interceptions (17) in 2021. The Jags' first season was in 1995. They're still among the four newest teams in the NFL along with the Carolina Panthers (1995), Baltimore Ravens (1996), and Houston Texans (2002). As I wrote in my review for the Texans (https://www.yelp.com/biz/houston-texans-houston), both the Jaguars and the Texans have zero Super Bowl appearances. Of the NFL's current 32 teams, the Jags and Texans are two of only four teams to have yet to make it to the Super Bowl (the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions are the other two teams). Meanwhile, the Panthers have been to two and the Ravens have won two. The Jags did get off to a hot start under the team's first head coach, Tom Coughlin (1995-2002). Coughlin, of course, is known for leading Eli Manning and the New York Giants to Super Bowl victories in 2008 and 2012. In eight years at the helm, Coughlin had the Jaguars in the playoffs four consecutive times (1996-1999) with two AFC Championship Game appearances. The team's future certainly looked bright at the outset. Things haven't been the same since Coughlin. Jack Del Rio was the next head coach. What I remember most about Del Rio is that he wore a suit on the sidelines: https://www.google.com/search?q=jack+del+rio+suit&sxsrf=APq-WBuq6DguoMMwcyAUolVGTbKjfdFOig:1645308060288&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiXyeqT4oz2AhXMm2oFHaMqDTwQ_AUoA3oECAEQBQ&biw=1227&bih=927&dpr=1. He's the only other coach in Jags history to lead the team to more than one postseason appearance. Mel Tucker, Mike Mularkey, Gus Bradley, Doug Marrone, Urban Meyer, and Darrell Bevell have a combined *one* postseason appearance in Jacksonville: Marone led the Jags back to the AFC Championship Game in 2018 (2017 season). Doug Pederson, who led the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl LII championship in 2018, was hired as the Jags' newest head coach in February 2022. Hopefully, Pederson will get the Jags into their first Super Bowl. Fun fact: The Jaguars' home stadium, TIAA Bank Field a.k.a. "The Bank," is the only NFL stadium with a pool. There are two wading pools in the north end zone where fans can take in the game.

What an experience from the shuttle service to the exchange of our tickets. We had a ball. It was a pre birthday gift from my coworker. This was my first game ever in Florida to see the Jaguars. The score should have been 21-0. But as you see the score is just a puny 3-0 second in the second quarter. We were not aware we could bring snacks into the stadium. As a result I spent nearly $70 for 2 sausage, a beer and a premium drink. It's my birthday 55 and still alive!

Today it was #suitelife experience. I was invited to tag along into the PGA tour suite located on the 50 yard line of the visitors side. Nice setup with a gracious host and accommodating and friendly staff. The buffet spread today of burger sliders, ribs, and veggies, etc. was combined with any alcohol you could ask for. And for mixed drinks you played your own bartender so........Obviously while you CAN indulge doesn't mean you really do being in these business type climates. After the third quarter a dessert cart came along for even more indulging which was a nice touch for sure. It did feel a little odd with an open window to the game below while sitting in the AC. This is a rarity for me as I'm happy to simply be in the club but the #allinclusive experience is quite choice. If you ever have the opportunity I highly recommend it. #ferrisbueller

The Love/Hate relationship for the Jags only becomes more intense the longer I live here. The management of the Jags seem a little erratic but it is still early to judge for this current admin. I Love the game watches here even though not a fan of the Jags, Sit in the Hot temps, Chew Spitters spitting on the Seat floor, Loud obnoxious people to watch the inevitable loss. So it is painful sometimes. We can only hope, but 4 stars is for HOPE!

My favorite area of the entire stadium on a hot day. #CabanaPool I love my city and the Jaguars.

Handicapped area for wheelchairs and their companion/companions. The actual field is lovely and well-kept. Everything is kept very clean from the stands to the bathrooms to the concession stands/areas. Speaking of concessions, there is so much to choose from. You will find the traditional baseball food such as hotdogs and peanuts as well as food that can be eaten as a meal. Very good variety. Also plenty of choices for alcoholic beverages; although, they are costly. We all exact that to be the case, though. The only thing that irks me is since I've lived in Jacksonville, our home teams has always been The Jacksonville Suns. They changed the name to The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Jumbo Shrimp? Like WTAF?! Who thought this was a good idea? I, personally, think it's a pretty f*cked up name. LOL But whatever. LOL Of course everything is closed down now because of COVID, but I have faith the world will once again be "normal" in the future. When that happens, get you and the family to the ballpark and have yourself some fun! Ticket prices are reasonable and they constantly have specials - just check their website. The only thing that will really drain your wallet is alcohol.

However, I don't think there is a bad seat in the whole stadium. Parking is very convenient with a parking garage right next to the stadium. There are plenty of food options, including a couple of shrimp entrees. I had the popping shrimp, and it was great. They also have a shrimp po boy and a shrimp quesadilla. They also have the standard hot dog, popcorn, peanuts and ice cream. The field looks beautiful. The announcer is very energetic.

EverBank Stadium is honestly one of the easiest stadiums…read moreI've been to navigate. Getting around feels simple and efficient, and for a stadium, the food and drink prices really aren't nearly as outrageous as you'd expect. One thing I especially love is that it's actually IN Jacksonville instead of being built 20+ miles outside the city it's named after like so many other stadiums. The downtown location adds so much to the experience and makes game days/events feel connected to the city itself. Already excited to see what it looks like after the renovations because the future plans sound incredible. Also, huge shoutout to Steve C. in the Gallagher Club -- hands down the best bartender in the entire stadium. Friendly, fast, and always makes the experience even better.

I recently contacted the Jacksonville Jaguars about purchasing season tickets and was specifically…read moreinterested in Section 130, Row C. I worked with Account Executive Gray Gibson, and after several conversations, we agreed those seats were perfect. They were one row behind our friends and were exactly what I wanted for a special gift for my husband. I was a serious buyer, prepared to spend nearly $6,000. I explained to Gray that I needed a few days before paying because I was waiting for the "clear to close" on my home purchase. We scheduled a call for Thursday, with payment planned for Friday. On Wednesday morning, Gray told me the seats were still available and said he would see about holding them. I asked to move our call up to Wednesday, but he told me there was no reason to do so if I wasn't paying that day. Based on that conversation, I believed the seats were being held for me. Ironically, later that afternoon I received my clear to close, meaning I was free to make the purchase. Unfortunately, Thursday morning Gray told me the seats were gone, along with the seats directly behind them. I was offered seats several rows farther back. I understand that other customers can purchase available seats. What I don't understand is why I was left with the impression that the seats were being held for me when they weren't. If I had been clearly told from the beginning that it was simply first come, first paid, I would have understood the risk and handled things differently. I also spoke with supervisor Chris Carter, but unfortunately there was no meaningful resolution. I repeatedly explained why Section 130 was important to me, yet the focus remained on trying to sell me other seats costing thousands of dollars that didn't meet my needs. This was supposed to be an exciting gift for my husband, and instead the experience completely ruined it. The Jaguars didn't just lose the sale of these seats--they lost a customer. Clear communication and customer service should matter just as much as making the sale.
