I did want something fresh and updated since the fence it was replacing had been about as plain as fence could be. The owner of the company is the one that came to design and quote. He was friendly and creative. We designed a horizontal fence with a multi height design since it goes uphill. The price quote was very reasonable so I signed up and a couple of weeks later I had a beautiful fence in place. They built it in about 4 hours. I will admit I was a bit worried as my tulips were sprouting right in front of where the fence goes. They were very careful and the tulips survived!

The representative came out within a day and gave me a quote. I was so impressed with the service that I called again within a month to replace the other side of my yard fence. It was a chain link fence which are hard to find companies to install. They replace both my neighbor's gates as well (one wood and one chain link) as they were attached to the original fences being replaced. My neighbors were happy. I have since had storm damage to one side of the fence. They were out in one day after looking at the fence to repair. It is amazing how the fence looks. It looks like there was never any damage. I will definitely recommend Coop for service and price. Thank you, Sean, for your great service. The Stackhouse

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have no choice here. We are a Rental Property management company…read morethat hired Ethan (EC Projects) for a bath remodel. It was quoted at ~$8k and after beginning the job that increased to ~$9k with an approved change order, which was fine. I would say the job began OK and Ethan did a fair job on the demo and framing. His detail work however was sloppy, leaving bad scratches all over the new tub. He tried to cover them but only made it worse. The tub will have to be reglazed to fix it. Moreover he or his sub installed the diverted incorrectly and we got a bid for $1340 to fix that. Really the worst part has been his unreliability and broken promises. Our tenant has given up so much time to be stood up, delayed, etc. We finally had no choice but to end the contract, and unfortunately we were nice enough to pay almost all of the contract in advance after he asked if we could help him to pay his guys. We are left holding the bag, which is our fault for paying him in advance when the job wasn't close to being done. I would run from this guy.

We'd had a termite infestation in our home that damaged a main support beam and many of the struts…read morein the house's frame, and we needed a contractor to repair it. Ethan with EC Projects was the first to respond and the reviews were good, so we went with them. They got the damaged struts and beam replaced, and new drywall and insulation put up. The first issue occurred when the spackle was applied. The guy doing the spackling left spackle handprints all over the bannister and woodwork around the work area, as well as on the carpet. I let Ethan know and they did clean most of it up except for a few spots. This wasn't a big deal since the spackle comes up easily with water. The next issue came up with the paint. Ethan cut a small square out of the wall to take in to get a color match. He assured me the team would fill it in and repaint the spot. This was not done. I pointed it out to the workers when the project was finished and they would not do it. Again, I let it go, since it was small and in an unobtrusive spot. The paint they put up did match the color, but was a satin finish, instead of the semigloss that is on the rest of the interior. I didn't bother pointing this out, since I wanted the project to be done and it wasn't that noticeable. The workers had also taken down the curtain brackets when they replaced the drywall and painted. These were the brackets that held up the curtain rod and the hook on the wall that held open the curtains on the side. They would not put these back up after they had finished painting. I had to do that myself. Next issue was for the wooden support post for the railing around the work area. This was attached inside the wall before the project started, and it had to be detached in order replace that part of the frame. It did not seem that it was re-attached the same way, because two large screws and an empty screw hole were drilled into the outside of the post. I pointed this out to workers and they just said it was something they had to do. Next was a piece of trim they removed during painting, and replaced with a new piece of trim. The workers did not bother to match the stain with the existing trim, and it was stained much darker than the rest of the trim in the house, and there was a big handprint in it. The workers would not fix this either. There were also some areas where paint was spilled over onto the trim, and some chips taken out of the trim. Again, I did not bother pointing this out because it was small and the trim had some existing damage anyway. Cracks also formed in the ceiling in one area where they replaced the frame. Now the small stuff was adding up. During the beam and frame replacement, the workers, drilled several screw holes, or removed nails, in the exterior siding, and they did not fill them in again. I only discovered these after they left, so I did not have a chance to bring it up with the workers. A day or two after the workers left, on 7/21, Ethan came by to pick up the extra drywall and insulation that wasn't needed, so I showed him the only two remaining items I wanted fixed, which were the holes in the siding and the misstained trim. I was willing to let everything else go if they could fix these two items. Ethan agreed those should be fixed and assured me they would do it. He said he would get back to me on when they would come back out. Two days later, I still had not heard from anyone, so I followed up with Ethan. It was Wednesday, 7/23, and he replied that they would come out that Friday, the 25th. When Friday came, Ethan texted me saying it would rain all day, and they would be out th e following week. That Monday, he texted me saying they would be out on Tuesday. But on Tuesday he texted me saying the workers were struggling in the heat. (They were due at 4:30 in the afternoon and the siding is on the shaded side of the house. The trim, of course, is indoors in the air conditioning.) He said he would come out the next day, but on Wednesday he texted me again saying it wasn't dry enough and it was supposed to rain again. He was due at 4:30 pm and my forecast said the rain wasn't supposed to start until 7:30 pm, but he said he would come out on the following Friday, 8/1. Again I agreed and emphasized I wanted the project to be done soon. (It did not rain that day.) Friday came and I did not hear from him. So I texted him again asking what happened and he said he had a family emergency and couldn't make it out, and asked me what time he should show up, but by this time I was done, and I told him to forget it, I would do it myself. Ethan apologized and said he wouldn't reschedule again, but I was tired of dealing with it by this time, ten days had now passed since I showed Ethan the damage, and I could have had it done by then if I had just done it myself in the first place. Ethan seemed sincere, but overall I cannot recommend EC Projects.

Rodrigo and Christian quoted me a price and I accepted the price for a tear out and an install of a…read morescreened in porch with a two-week completion date. I thought that time frame was aggressive but that was great for me. Review of Scope of work: 1. The deck and roof construction appears to be solid and exactly as discussed. 2. Two-week completion date took them about 8 weeks. 3. We had a bad rainstorm during roof Constuction which left me with rain inside my house and a stained ceiling. (They said they would fix it they never did) 4. When they put the ledger board in place apparently one of the screws made the door jamb bow, so the door is hard to open. (They said they would fix it they never did.) 5. It has been about three months since construction completion, and the majority of the screen panels have now fallen out. So, no screened in porch. The Good: -Love the deck well-constructed would refer them for this type of work. -Very friendly to work with -They seem very knowledgeable on deck and roof construction. The finished decking and rook product seems very well built. -They always suggested good ideas on how to make the deck appear nicer. The Bad: -The time frame was not met. (8 weeks instead of 2 weeks) -They did not fix the problems that were caused by the construction like the door not closing, stained water damage to ceiling during roof install and finally the screen that blew out. Apparently, no work guarantees on work -and apparently, they underbid. The worst: -They said that they didn't make any money on the construction even though I gave them exactly the bid amount and I never negotiated the price. He informed me that he did it out of his generosity like I was a charity case. So, he must of bid incorrectly and blames that on me. Final Thought: I offered him free access to my property to show off his work to potential customer and I offered my contact info for anyone to contact me for references. All he had to do was guarantee his craftsmanship. When I informed him of the screen problem, he reinstalled it once then when it fell out again, he ignored my texted. I tried to contact him again and then he told me I was a charity case, and he didn't make any money. It will cost me about another $500+ to replace the screen myself. Hopefully this will give everyone a real story on how the process went from start to finish. Please make your own decisions.
