I felt respected during the entire process, which is very valuable to me, and every time I brought a concern, viewpoint or question to his attention, he made sure to answer it the best he could, within specific guidelines. Additionally, he always made sure to clue me in to when the situation needed touches of realism. As a client, those conflicting explanations were frustrating and unacceptable. I have retained the emails and text messages documenting these communications. When I picked up my settlement check, Fernando--an employee of West Coast Trial Lawyers--personally handed me the check. At that time, I gave him $200 in cash and three bottles of alcohol. Looking back, I REGRET doing that. I was PRESSURED... I was afraid to come empty handed. I had to delay picking up my check because of this matter. Ironically, the firm is now finally returning the $200 cash. During this process, Neema Rahmani (PRESIDENT) stated he was unaware of the cash and the alcohol bottles. However, I have text messages from Fernando referencing the tequila bottle and the check. Those messages speak for themselves. Unjust and unfair behavior don't you think ? Based on my experience, I have completely LOST confidence in this firm. If you're considering hiring them, ask detailed questions about how overpayments, reimbursements, and client funds are handled before signing anything. My experience was months of delays, conflicting information, repeated follow-ups, and waiting for money the firm acknowledged in writing was owed to me. I cannot recommend this firm based on how my case was handled. RUN AWAY!! THEY WILL MANIPULATE YOU!!! HALF THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE !!! ALMOST 4 MONTHS LATER IM STILL EMAILING THEM EVERYDAY. As a client, I have a reasonable expectation of timely communication, transparency, and diligence none of which have been provided. This matter has now spanned several years, and being repeatedly ignored has caused unnecessary stress and concern about whether my case is being properly handled. An attorney has an ethical obligation to keep clients informed and to act with reasonable promptness. In my experience, those obligations were not met. I strongly advise anyone considering this firm to get all communication expectations in writing and to keep detailed records. If communication and representation standards are not upheld, remember that filing a complaint with the State Bar is an available and appropriate course of action. I will be filing a bar complaint myself.

After the insurance settlement check had already been received by the firm, I waited approximately six weeks without receiving my portion of the proceeds or any meaningful explanation for the delay. Eventually, after getting nowhere over the phone, I drove nearly three hours to the office in Glendale to resolve the matter in person. What surprised me was that I wasn't even invited into a private office to discuss confidential legal and financial matters. Instead, conversations took place in a shared hallway/common area of the building, surrounded by unrelated people from other businesses. As a client discussing sensitive information, I found this highly unprofessional and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, after speaking with other attorneys, I became concerned that the amount I received from the settlement may have been significantly less than what I should have been entitled to.
