Very good variety of beers - definitely something for anyone! We went with the brown which was very good. Bartenders were very friendly. Nice outside area to enjoy this amazing weather! Definitely a hidden gem worth the stop!

Great brewery with very friendly staff. The master brewer is there almost everyday and real friendly. It's nice they have such a variety of beers and they only serve the beers they make. They also have a variety of other drinks for those who don't drink beer or alcohol and drinks for kids. I love the new hard seltzer cocktails they started making! They are so delicious! It's a cool place to chill with friends or have a party. They even have a big event room you can rent. Check out their website or social media for weekly events and food truck schedule. It's a little off the beaten path but it's worth the trip!

Overview: 5/5 Finally, finally FINALLY a brewery in Alachua. Happy day and a great hang out place with family or friends. BONUS - there is a wine bar next door for non-beer loving people. Ambiance : 5/5 I love the layout of this brewery!! Usually these places are cold and steely. This brewery has character, indoor and outdoor seating and a live band was playing on Friday night. It has lots of seating and a long bar with stools. The swings are a nice novelty but not sure I would want to sit on them all night long and drinking lol. Food/Drink 4/5 Although the brewery does not serve food they arrange for a food truck most nights they are open. On the night we went it was a Mexican Crunchy Taco truck (very good). Onto the beers... quite a variety. I tried a flight of six to take a broad brush tasting across the board. My favorite was the cash cow. See photo for my beer flight ratings Service : 5/5 We sat at the bar and were well cared for. The bar tender (Dan) was knowledgeable and helped us determine the order in which to drink our flight. Conclusion : We will be bar flies for sure. Join the Alachua County Sippin Seven Trail to earn points towards free stuff!!

This place is a vibe! There was live music, which was a little too loud, but it was nice to listen to after ordering and getting comfortable. We aren't big beer people, so we got a flight and asked for a few recommendations for the beer tender. He was super patient, helpful, attentive, and nice. They didn't have too many food options but there was a food truck outside. We ended up getting pita and crackers with hummus and a buffalo chicken dip, which was on the brewery's menu! It was really good, and a perfect side for the beer.

Friendly service, quality product, variety of beers in a neat & clean environment. Great prices too! Look forward to returning and trying more. Two thumbs up and will return.

There is a long bar, sitting area with fire place and an outside area as well. Chris Hart, the owner and brewer is doing something very right here. The beer selection is diverse. I think I counted 19 beers on tap, plus a host of guest taps including cider and wine. They do Belgians right here, but there were also sours, gose, pilsner, IPAs, porter, brown ale, and some European favorites like a winter warmer, hefeweizen and Marzen. The BEER: Wicked Child Belgian Strong Ale 14% ABV... sips like it is under 10%, smooth and delicious, just very slightly boozy. This is the strongest beer in Gainesville The Snow Gose 4 5% ABV... everything you would expect, sour and salty goodness Pucker Round fruited Gise 5.5% ABV... holy wow, a little tonic, and a lot of pucker. Good. Key lime and passion fruit Lord of Flashheart Belgian blonde 6.5% ABV... yes this is a grand blonde, well balanced and easy drinking Queenie Belgian amber 6% ABV... I love this amber, especially the warm hug I feel after a few sips. It mellows as it warms. Saint Sydney Belgian Dubbel 7.5% ABV... Oh yes, yes, yes, yes! This is the real McCoy, slightly boozy, semi sweet and quite delicious. Date Night Belgian quad 12% ABV... you can definitely taste the alcohol in this one. Not subtle, but definitely delicious, especially if you like Belgians I Cherries You Belgian fruit beer 7% ABV... wow, this is absolutely delicious, on the dryer side, but still semi sweet and absolutely crushable Real Eyes Realize Imperial IPA 9.25% ABV... perfectly balanced imperial IPA, sweet, juicy, delicious A little citrus and a whole lot of orange rind. This IPA has character. If I had to classify this brewery it would be a sophisticated craft beer experience. And, if I have any criticism it is that if you open a tab, they keep your card. So not a fan of that, but the overall experience was awesome. Like really awesome. BLACKADDER BREWING does BEER RIGHT!

So I went to this establishment for what was advertised as an Oyster festival. Needless to say…read morewhen I arrived at 6pm I was told the festival sold out at 2pm that day even though the event was advertised as being from 11-9pm. so I decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. First I was in line behind someone being help at the register on the other end of the bar. The waitress helped the gentleman and then left the register as if she was handling some other things behind the bar, never returning to take my order, even passing by me several times. Taking orders around the bar. Then A young couple walked up behind me and were helped by the gentleman behind the bar, I assumed he had been helping them before because they were discussing how much alcohol was in a particular beer and weather or not the underage young women could legal drink it based on the alcohol , Now I'm still standing there, yet no one asked to take my order or if I needed anything! Two people finish eating and left so I took one of the seats at the end of the bar beside where I was standing . I watched while the lady lady bartender finished her shift and left and another bartender took her place, upon staring her shift she went straight to help the large group of gentleman at the bar with drinks, so I told myself maybe they have been waiting just as long as I have , yet when she finished with their drinks she walked right past me sitting there with a menu in hand! The final straw was seeing the gentleman with the beard come and take orders from two groups of people standing right beside me , where I previously was and he never attempted to take my order! I won't even mention me looking up and catching a a gentleman staring at me, like literally hard staring at me!! I don't like to make assumptions however I can only assume I was not a welcome sight in this establishment due to me being a black woman!!! I'm in Ocala for a travel assignment and I can say experiencing something like I did at this place yesterday tells me all I need to know about this area! To all my brown people stay clear of this establishment I've included pictures so there is no confusion about the individuals!

On this visit they had about 4 of their brews on tap. I got the West Floridian Christmas which is a Belgian spiced quad 8.9% ABV. It was sweet, but quite delicious. I like the concept, but this location does not seem optimal and the limited amount of their own beer on tap was disappointing. Still a cool spot. Hope the business picks up. We were here on Saturday around 5:00 pm. I would imagine they get busier in the evening, but they close at 10pm on a Saturday night so well, there is that.

Not many tables in the bar area so... we sat right at the bar. The bartender had all kinds of attitude... in the BEST way possible. It was awesome. We started with 12 wings tossed in their buffalo sauce. They were excellent - and this coming from a wing snob. The blue cheese was very good - thick and chunky. For the main course, I got the fish and chips with an extra piece of fish. The fish was great. Fries were above average. They had music bingo (maybe a Tuesday thing?) - that was a bit much but c'est la vie. There was one dude shouting out every song and singer. My guy, get a hobby! lol Highly Recommend! Nothing was bad but nothing stood out either. Everything was solid. We didn't eat here but the menu looked solid. They had a Mississippi pot roast (Similiar to an Italian beef) wrap that sounded great. If I were a local, I'd definitely come back to try out the food.
