I was a patient of Dr Chang for several years, roughly from 2017 to 2020. During that time Dr chang…read moreextracted a tooth for me due to a previous root canal that became infected. Months later I received an implant but the implant literally fell out of my mouth. Dr Chang thought he had not given my bone enough time to heal. So months after that we tried again and that implant also fell out of my mouth. I ended up moving out of state and found an EXCELLENT biological dentist and long story short it turned out that the reason my implants fell out is because the bone where the tooth was extracted was dead. Additionally, that dentist knew MUCH more about biological dentistry than Dr Chang so when I ended up moving back to Washington (8 months later) I suggested to him that he call her so he could educate himself. I was shocked to discover at my next appointment that he never called her. He seemed to be completely uninterested in learning more about the cutting edge of biological dentistry. He was apparently not even interested in listening to what she would have to say. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed in his commitment toward continuing education and listening to the concerns of a patient. I no longer see Dr Chang and have a new dentist in Mukilteo.

I had to ask them 3 times before they attended to me. People who came after me were attended to before me. This is after canceling my first appointment on Nov 12th just a few hours before the appointment. They just texted me on the morning of the appointment saying my appointment is canceled and I had to call them back twice before I got another appointment and that was more than a month away on Dec 16th. I just saw another review for Dr. Goldsmith that says that she does not show up for appointments and is bad with following up on patients. The reason I went for and the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy was not sent despite calling and letting them know twice. There's no access to the doctor once you are seen. It's also the doctor's responsibility to make sure this is done and it does not seem like they care. After I called and left a message the second time the medical assistant called me and literally shouted at me saying she is done her job and there was an issue with the pharmacy despite me trying to explain that my other doctor sends prescriptions here all the time and I have never had an issue and also the pharmacy going out of their way to check on it. Have never had this kind of experience visiting a doctor's office. People always go out of their way to make the patient comfortable. Will never go back or recommend this clinic to anyone. This is not the way to treat patients who have come to see a doctor for an illness. I never write reviews and never a negative one as I know how hard people work to keep a business running. I had to write this as I don't want any other new patients to undergo this ordeal specially when they are seeking healing for an illness from a qualified doctor's office.

Instead of collecting specific information before the surgery, Dr. Pfeiffer danced around asking whether our son (4th grade) was competent enough to understand his surgery. This was done in the consult room directly before surgery *in front of our son*. Dr. Pfeiffer was wanting to know if he should explain the surgery at an age appropriate level or not, and instead of doing that he asked whether our son was in mainstream school or special education. We told him he was homeschooled and to explain at an age appropriate level. We had already been waiting in the waiting room for 40 minutes and then had to endure a slow, awkward questioning on our son's competence. Dr. Pfeiffer this is unacceptable. Your bedside manner is the worst we've ever experienced.

Instead of taking to me handed me 3 pages of forms to fill out stating. " I haven't seen you in a couple of years." I reiterated the only thing that is changed is my address. There was no flexibility on her simply changing that request I walked out because if the person at the front desk is too lazy to perform that simple task?
