While I was waiting they offered to take me to get something to eat. As it was a bit of a stressful situation there were concerned for me. I can't speak high enough of professionalism and quality of the shop. Thank you so very much Jim Clark

Terrible shop with the worst mechanics, I was deployed and my ma wanted to do something nice for…read moreme. She took the truck to the shop and they were supposed to fix the rear main seal and the water pump. They proceeded to tell her it wasn't the rear main seal and that we needed a new oil pan. Charged her for what should've been a gold plated coil pan and then they didn't connect the air intake properly and also jammed the mass airflow sensor in sideways. When I had gotten my truck back after deployment it was gasping for air we found the air leak and fixed that particular problem. However I ignored that it had a new rough idle and it just threw code for both banks and that's when I noticed the mass airflow sensor. whoever the mechanic that worked on my vehicle should never be allowed near a vehicle again. The amount of items he was negligent towards not to mention the lack of finesse with the parts he reapplied show he does not have what it takes to be a mechanic. I was so mad initially with how I got my truck back i didnt ever want to acknowledge my truck went to that shop I now regret not taking it back and forcing them to fix what they had done.

The sound was very obvious and within an hour after after dropping it off they called me with the diagnosis and anticipated cost. I gave the go ahead, and they fixed it within a couple hours. When I came to pick it up, the cost was true to the phone estimate and I was on my merry way with no more rattling! The only complaint I have is that google maps took me into the middle of nowhere and I got totally lost. From town, on highway 59, take a right at the light at Jakes Tavern onto Southern drive and keep going until you see a white water tower and then turn on the road right before it (wheel drive) and it's a building with a big blue roof. It's easy once you find it the first time. I'll definitely be taking my car and my husbands car here for future repairs and recommend it to my friends!

The dealership couldn't get me in, about four other mechanics didn't have time, but this place got me in quickly and got the job done quickly. Thanks to the fast turnaround, I didn't have to change my schedule at all. Additionally, the mechanic went out of his way to tell me about a potential issue with my vehicle that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. It's hard to argue with good service, reasonable prices, and an honest mechanic. Can't recommend this place enough.

They also pinched the starter wire between the block & transmission! & to top it all off they used the old torque converter. Who does that? Charged us 5500.00 & caused us so much down time & extra costs in repairs for damage they did. Granted, you can always blame the mechanic assigned to perform the work, but it's always the owners name & responsibility to verify the work was done properly. Which they failed miserably. Because of their unprofessional attitude, the way they treat customers, i don't appreciate being yelled at or threatened. I do have witnesses, the corners that were cut, & repairing the other damage caused by their carelessness, not checking over completed work before it leaves their shop, is it any wonder so many people go to rapid to have work performed professionally? Go ahead & roll the dice if you want, but if you want to gamble, there's casinos in town. Your odds of winning are no doubt greater there!

Fortunately had cell reception and called Pat at K&K in Gillette, Wy. Said he could do diagnostics at 4:00 the following day. To say we were extremely concerned would be an understatement. My daughter immediately took her phone and searched for an auto repair business. K&K Auto Repair was listed as the only garage still open (it was 5:35 pm on a Friday) for the day. We limped into K&K, parked our Mercedes GL450, and entered the establishment. The receptionist greeted us with kindness and warmth. We explained our situation, and she alerted the mechanic. The mechanic, displaying the same type of courtesy and professionalism, took our car to the garage for a diagnostic test as we eagerly waited for the results. Twenty minutes later, the mechanic stepped into the waiting area and said, "I have good news and bad news. The good news is that your transmission is fine. The bad news is that your lower fuel pump is done, and I will have to order a new one." Sadly, we had to leave the car at K&K for the repairs, and my father-in-law drove from two hours away to pick us up. The following Thursday, K&K contacted us and said the necessary repairs had been made and the vehicle was ready to be picked up. The next day, my father-in-law dropped us off at K&K, we paid a fair price, and began our journey back to Virginia. Our car ran like a new car all the way home. Whether your car is domestic or foreign, K&K can repair your car. Thanks, K&K!!!!
