The last service, I watched the tech enter my backyard through my gate carrying a broadcast fertilizer spreader. He was in my backyard for 15 seconds or less and came back out front and climbed in his truck. I went out front to ask if he treated the lawn and why the broadcast spreader. He told me the pump on the truck tank was broken and that he had put fertilizer on both lawns. I found fertilizer pellets on the front lawn and sidewalks, but absolutely none in the backyard. (Nice to be lied to) I was scheduled and had prepaid for aeration service. They day/time it was scheduled for, I received a text from that tech telling me my service was canceled due to weather (sunny, hot). I called Customer Service and asked why my service was canceled. CS Rep told me that tech's notes for cancelation was "equipment failure". (Clearly more lies) For a company this large, they sure do have a lot of equipment issues. I find it hard to believe they don't have another aeration machine or another truck with a working pump. Given the hour of the day, my money is on the tech not wanting to drive to my location, have to do the job, then drive back to the office. CS Rep was good. He offered to have a tech come out and retreat my lawn. Why would I want or trust someone to do it right the second time when they clearly can't or don't want to do it right the first time. TRUST GONE! Bye-bye Trugreen! You can thank your techs for losing another account.
