Salesman knocked on my door, said he worked for DaBella and said my siding was falling off. The siding is fairly new and in perfect shape. I said I didn't need any help and he asked if he could have a bottled water or some drink. I said no and he kept asking and I shut the door on him. He then yelled something as he was walking away. Just a word to the wise -- Don't invite DaBella home services into your home. We got a bid (which took two hours of cajoling to extract from the salespeople) to upgrade two showers in our home for $42,000. The price and the unending sales pitch is unbelievable. The correct price should be somewhere around $15,000. I was nice, but they just wouldn't leave and kept using high-pressure sales tricks and techniques. Finally, I said "we're no longer interested" while they were standing on the doorstep outside our home. They still came back with (for the sixth or seventh time) "what would it take to make this work for you?" I then said in a firm voice, with a smile, "We're done here" and closed the door. My father ordered windows and they were expensive and leaked. When he called to report they were leaking with heavy rains the csr sent someone out to fix the leaks, but the guy was mad that he had to come out and fix someone else's mistake. The workers never show up when scheduled. We have a hard time finding people to work in our rural area so when he then needed siding he tried DaBella again. He set the appt for someone to come out. I've had to return to change my rating from 5 stars to 2. Here's the reasons- 1) Although our sales rep was great, a 90 minute appointment ended up being almost four hours long. 2) After telling our sales rep "no" multiple times, he called his supervisor ya know sale tactic of the supervisor giving us a better deal, we still said "no". Then the sales rep said "well I can give up my commission". Just a weird interaction but he tried hard and the explanation of product was good so he got the review 3) But then I've gotten multiple calls from the company everyday since. Despite me communicating to the sales rep, the sales reps manager he called, and the first call agent they keep calling. 4) I literally had to tell one of the agents calling me back why I didn't like the product again and deal with the agent tryin to question my no! Like they actually tried to do another sales pitch. Honestly such weird sale tactics. The desperation is what changed my review. If a company was as good as they are saying they are, there is no way they'd continue to push after such firm no's in the methods they are using. They came in and this young jackass some way some how thought he could entice me with a quote as he got on the phone with his office I guess and wanted me to do this. I am not a young punk as I told this A___hole I do not like pressure sales and have walked out of many car dealership. I informed him I have several bids lined up and if I decide I will contact your office. The very next morning I get a call from their office, and hung up and then again in the afternoon. These guys came to our door trying to sell windows and my partner set up an appt to hear them out. We were told it would be about 60 minutes but took over 3 hours. When we decided the prices weren't in the budget right now and we would be open to having another conversation later they continued to call 3 times a day after the fact. Absolutely terrible experience. This company wrongfully placed a lien on my property after I purchased it from my grandfather. A lien is a serious legal matter, and they put it on the wrong property without properly verifying anything. When I tried to get it corrected, it took over a month just to get someone to answer the phone. Most of the time they didn't respond at all. Even after finally reaching them, they dragged their feet signing the lien release form. Completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and careless when it comes to handling serious legal paperwork. A contract was signed on October 1, 2025, and as of now no work has been done on the roof whatsoever, despite the contract stating the job would be completed by 11/28/2025, which constitutes a clear failure to meet contractual obligations. The company has dragged their feet from day one. Communication is almost nonexistent. My elderly grandparents have no idea when or if workers will show up. On the rare occasions they do call, the workers either cancel last minute or don't show up at all. When you try to call the company, no one answers, and voicemails are never returned. They ordered the wrong materials, then let them sit for weeks before even bothering to pick them up and reorder the correct supplies, causing even more unnecessary delays. The pricing is outrageous--2 to 3 times higher than the average, with absolutely nothing to justify it. After reading other reviews, it's clear this company preys on elderly customers, banking on the fact that they won't fight back. This has been nothing but excuse after excuse, delay after delay, and zero accountability. If they respond to this review telling you to call them, don't waste your time--no one will answer, and no one will call you back. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and money. ***Update*** I originally wrote my first review after my second installment, which was over a month ago now. Just a little update of how it's going. Despite the nice little response from Xavier. Sorry I don't feel like my project is being managed at the level you claim it has been escalated too. And I really hope this is not the highest level of attention that you can offer your customers. Because I have had little to no communication with anyone from the company. I have called several times multiple times a week left messages called customer service left messages with them at least twice a week. was told several times that they would get back to me in an hour, with no response after that. So no I do not feel like my project has been handled with your core values in mind. Because where is that "we care". Here I am over a month later from my second installment waiting on one window that was supposedly put as a "rushed order" I can't seem to get anyone to call me with at least an update. When I started my project way back in May I was told this was a easy 4 month max project we are now approaching October. Now the cold season is starting to come upon us and I am still waiting on one window. This company is uncaring and all they see is $$ signs when they look at their customers they don't care about the people they make a commitment too. it's very clear in the way they treat their customers. The sales people stayed 5 hours, after his relentless talking, and yet another call to his manager, we were brain dead and beaten down. We finally relented signed the papers and by 10:00 pm they finally left. When the contractors they seemed competent. After 4 days of work the contract manager said that the workers did not want to stay another night in our remote town away from their family, which we understood. So asked if would we sign the completion paper before the finishing worker was done. The managers could leave and the workers would stay and finsh all the final work. Up to this point the workers seemed diligent so we said ok. Idiots we were. The general contractor then left and the team worked on for a couple more hours. Finally they left around 10:00 pm. In the morning, we again saw our blunder. None of the 3 exterior storm doors were replaced correctly they would not close and latch. The exterior lights were not replaced correctly not using the correct hardware they had removed and then left on the table. They screwing the lights directly in to the wall. One plug wasn't replaced, our fence was bent out of place and not cut so that it could stand up correctly. last and most importantly, with this being a modular home they covered the HUD plate on the home so now when we want to get out from under there high interest loan, we can't because we don't have the HUD number any longer. yes we we were too gullible and was able to be steamrolled, but please consumer beware! read more

I have worked through the Pleasant Grove office. They showed up for the sales rep. to give me the spill on the roof. All good information, IF the company cares about customer satifaction. I was not able to involve my husband so I told them I needed to wait. They did everything and anything to get me to make a decision then. I held out and then received phone calls for a solid 2 weeks from corporate. Finally they stopped calling. I called in 2 months to have them come and share the roof infomation with my husband. It was a pressure situation, which I could deal with and I wanted the 50 year warranty. After them coming down on the price, we decided to go with the new GAF roof. They communicatied well pretty good after work was sat up. Louis was over the crew that did the roof work and he was SUPER and responding to my text and calls. (Thank You Louis!!) After taking off the piece that was under the metal and replacing it with DaBella's flashing strip I could see that there would be a gap with the old and new materials. It left bare wood exposed to the l elements which would not be a benifit for longevity. DaBella wouldn't take any of the responsiblity for helping my get this taken care of, after 3 phone calls and 1 visit. AND Not happy with finished job. In replacing the roof some facia was taken off and what was used to replace it was not enough to cover all the bare wood. So now I have to replace that, because I want to insure that my house is good for the next 20-30 years. I'm sad that it was left up to me to know what would be needed to have a 100% job done on my roof. I believe that the sales people needed to have more knowledge of what they offer and what was needed for my roof. It will cost me $400 to get what will close up the gap on my facia and they will not cover this or help me with it. That makes me sad and not have faith in the warranty of the roof. At this point I would tell anyone look and check other places and look in to this carefully. read more

They responded to my request on Angie's list for somebody to caulk my windows. I told them I do not want to buy new windows. They said they could do the caulking. Missed first appointment by over two hours. Came another day. Immediately tried to sell me new windows even though I told them I'm not interested. Said they would quote for the caulking needed. Spent an hour and a half measuring every single window. Came back with a quote to replace the windows. I said no. Called me two days later to talk about my quote to buy new windows. They don't listen. I will not buy windows from them even when I need to. read more

Their communication is horrible after you sign the contract. We had a change order in place a couple days after signing the contract to change color. The wrong color was delivered. We were told by our salesman that he would get back to us when he got to the office. We never heard from him again. The company that was hired to do the install was amazing and helped us get everything fixed. I was told that they would work on a discount for all the other hassles we dealt with. My Mother had just passed away and we needed a roof for her house, My Dad has dementia. We had DaBella come out for an estimate, Kyle was the guys name, Can't miss him him he has a HANDLEBAR moustache. Long story short the guy is more full of crap than a christmas turkey and we showed him the door, He peeled out in our driveway and threw rocks everywhere. So Kyle likes to tell you he went to BYU and got a BS, We know you did. This was in Hurricane Ut last year. This is one instance, The other is an older woman in My Cedar City Neighborhood in her late 80's named Diane, You Crooks charged her $75,000.00 for a roof on a 1000 sf mobile home and soffits and rain gutters. The workers did not have clue what they were doing and installed the wrong type of vents which are all over the roof in the wrong places which leaked rainwater into the poor womans house. Your shame knows no bounds, When I found this out I became so angry I couldn't see straight! I have been on the phone with the Utah Division Of Consumer Protection and we are going to do something about DaBella and their crooked, Shady tactics, They also would not leave this poor womans house till very late at night after they bullied her into signing the contract. read more

Had a very uncomfortable experience with one of their door-to-door salesmen -- I walked out to my mailbox to find him standing on the sidewalk in front of my yard. As I approached it, collected my mail, and walked back inside, he stared at me, saying nothing and making me uncomfortable. Why was he standing in my front yard? Why was he staring at me? Finally, as I approached my garage to get in my car (I was preparing to run some errands), he yelled after me, "Are you the homeowner?" Since I felt unsafe, I told him to get off my property, as we weren't interested in whatever he was selling. He replied "god, you don't have to be such a *****," before turning to cross the street, where I got a good look at his grey jacket with the company logo on the back. They put nails through my evaporative cooler so it was unable to hold water. Shroud holding up my evaporative cooler was damaged. They have not paid for the damage. They rescheduled because of the weather. But the weather was fine. When they did come again it was in a snow storm. They left their job unfinished and didn't follow through on replacing some the the wood on the roof that was damaged and just put tiles over it. Have been trying to get a hold of them for a very long time. I get promises but no follow through. read more

This company actually contacted me about window replacements and I made it clear that I had another appointment for a bid at 11 but if they could be out by then I'd listen. They were two young men and everything was going fine at first but the price they quoted was way higher than a previous bid I received. Then they did the irritating "let me call my supervisor" thing over and over to get the price lower. When the next company arrived it was awkward. These guys said it would only be five minutes longer but much to my chagrin they had no sense of urgency to wrap things up. The other company's representative kindly waited for me and then went outside to measure while these two boys tried to pressure me to make a deal then and there. When I once again relayed that I wanted to keep my appointment with the representative and that I felt it was rude to keep him waiting, Dabella's rep said if I could just make the deal with them then and there he'd just get rid of the other guy and let him know for me--what a lack of regard for what I asked. I get that these are young men that probably are pressured to practice and taught such sales tactics but it was extremely annoying, unprofessional and awkward for me to keep the other company's representative waiting. Had they been upfront, giving me the lowest price ti begin with without playing the call your supervisor games in addition to respecting my wishes to meet with the representative waiting maybe I would've considered using them. read more

I had three different appointments. First guy no showed no call. They called back and wanted to send out a second team. The guy was very convincing that they could help me. The two guys that showed up weren't the guys that the man said they were going to send.So I let them do their inspection. I must say they did a very good inspection. But then after crunchy, numbers, they came up with a number of thirty four thousand dollars, which I told them was way out of my budget. After that, team left the service rep called back. He insisted on sending out a new guy that had programs for me. So I agreed for it another estimate. Then the next guy showed up, it didn't do quite the same inspection, because I had all them measurements.And he came up with a budget of sixty four thousand dollars. He was trying to charge me a hundred and fifty dollars per sheet for a four by eight sheet of plywood. I think the bell is the most overpriced scam out there in the roofing market. This was a 2.5-hour HORRIBLE experience! I was looking for a quote to get replacement windows not to be held hostage in my own home by a pushy salesman. This salesman took over TWO hours and tried every trick in the book. Asking for water and making himself comfortable at my counter. This salesman was in my house for 2.5 hours playing the "you need to sign the contract game." Then, he fake calls his manager and says great news, we can knock off $5000, but only if I sign today. I reminded him "that is not true, if I called next week with cash it would be a horrible business model to not take the deal." This salesman could not read a room. I quit listening (1 hour in) when he had so many mind games. Sidenote, I am a licensed psychotherapist so reading people and their character traits is what I do for a living. This salesman tried: ad hominem (making personal talk/trying to gain report), glittering generalities (speaking glowing words of DaBalla with no supported evidence, false equivalence attempting to equate vastly different situations to Dabella's advantage, and much more. DaBella will never be invited into my home because they use pushy manipulation/propaganda tactics, overstepped boundaries, and then when he left he stated" I would learn by my own mistakes." -- Buddy we all do and I regret ever having to waste more time with this company on this review. I had a project done installing Soffit, facia, gutters and gutter guards. I was please with the work and it was done well. I had a problem with the gutter guards popping loose and they came and fixed it under warranty in a timely manner. I feel that their pricing is on the higher end and that I could have gotten the job done for a better price had I shopped around. The problem that I had is with their financing partner Goodleap. I financed 3/4 of the balance and it was done for a 15 year period. I fully intended to pay it off quickly i did not want to put out that much money up front because I know there are contractors that will get the money up front and then just disappear. Goodleap charges every possible banking fee that they can come up with. They started the loan on Feb 4th and my project was done in 3 days at the very end of February. They did not start the payments until April 4th but they were up and charging interest the entire time. I made extra payments each month and they were taking money from those extra payments for interest instead of all going to the principle so I promptly paid off the loan and will never consider doing business with Dabella if I need to do any financing. Dabella offered a special 180 days same as cash financing option after i had started my financing. That would have been the perfect option for me. I did contact Dabella to let them know that their good work and honesty had cost them my future business and recommendation do to the use of Goopdleap for financing. read more

Felt like a scam! My mother in law Vera got suckered into buying siding through them. They first charged $80k for a small one story house, and I mean a small house. But they pushed so hard and made so many reasons to buy it that they suckered my mother in law to do it. They weren't professional about it or caring about it at all. You could tell they ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY! And then when the time came to install we never heard from them. Not a thing. A month goes by and still nothing and Vera tried to call over and over again with either no response or with the person saying they'll get back with her. So she decided not to go with them and to get her deposit back. But Two months later and she still hasn't gotten her deposit back. They won't answer the phone or give her a straight answer. When I finally answered the phone, the lady on the phone asked about the online quote. I told her I was no longer interested, She asked why, and I just told her again I was not interested at this time. Then she stated that I asked for the free quote and should give her a reason. I told her, Sorry I was not interested, And she like interested in what. I again told her I was not interested and she came back again in what. I ended up just hanging up and blocking the number.
