The female doctor was knowledgeable and professional and told me the truth. I took her advice and thereafter slept like a baby. On this occasion, a year later, the experience was even better!. The doctor (I believe it's Dr. Grinko) is no magician/charlatan (I've met some of those! They look into your eyes, then at your palms and prescribe medications!). She sent me for the tests I expected and even those I never thought of. This doctor is thorough and tells it like it is. The environment is, for me, homely. If you're looking for a stuffy, black suit, well-sanitized (not in a sense of cleanliness, but ... emotional?) ambiance - this may not be the place for you. Here, although my blood pressure was high, I felt very relaxed. I even shared a few laughs with other patients! I highly, highly recommend Proxi medical for any urgent care.

A woman came in but the rest of the staff got here around 8:15am - 8:20am. This would have not be such a bad thing if people didn't start coming in already and there was no one to help the clients (at least 8 people was here by the time they opened). I was able to fill out my information in the kiosk. I'm not a fan of it allowing you to set an appointment because if you schedule it for 9:30am and it's 8am it will say I You're too early for the appointment. Although I'm a walk in patient not sure why I must need an appointment. It is now 8:27am and I'm sitting in the room waiting on someone to test me for the rapid Covid test. Okay it's not 8:33am and the test was taken (no vitals) I was told to wait in the room and they would give me the test results right away which is pretty cool . This location is new and very clean, staff seems pretty nice. I got my results and letter by 8:45 so hopefully I can make it to work for 9:30am. I gave them a 5 star because of the quickness once I got processed in but they get a 4.5 for the pre processing and lack of staff when they opened at 8am. I will definitely be back again but it seems to be best to come in early in the AM.

During a discussion about a medication that I've been taking for over two years, I felt that she questioned my knowledge about the medication and used language that was extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable coming from a physician in a medical setting. Some of the terminology she used was also not medically or anatomically accurate. I expected a much more professional and respectful approach. It was particularly disappointing given my otherwise positive experiences with this practice over the years. I hope the practice takes feedback like this seriously and considers how physicians communicate with patients about sensitive topics.

I called my insurance Cigna and found a plastic surgeon in north Jersey they recommended - Paul and Eric Carniol. Cigna ended up footing 95% of the bill since I was in-network. From my first day to my last, Drs. Paul and Eric Carniol have been nothing short of consummate professionals. I first met with Dr. Paul a couple times who referred me to his son Dr. Eric who I think is more specialized in ENT plastic surgery. My issue was a random cyst had popped up in a sensitive area - above my left eye. The Drs. ordered me for an MRI and CT and then decided they could operate. I was under general anesthesia and didn't know a thing that happened. Their office is conveniently located attached to Overlook Hospital in Summit so surgeries can be scheduled there. I would 10/10 recommend Carniol Plastic Surgery. No one asked me to do this review. I literally had surgery yesterday, woke up today removed the bandage and it looked amazing!! So I just wanted to do my part in leaving a positive review so others , too, can find the best plastic surgeons NJ has to offer for all their plastic surgery needs! I hope I never have to have plastic surgery again, but if I do, I'm going with Carniol. Special thanks to Melissa and all the other ladies that work there! They are extremely helpful, diligent, and top-notch negotiators with insurance!!!

I recently moved to the area, and I'm so grateful that I discovered her practice! Dr. Holder recommended Fraxel to treat some of the issues I had been experiencing. I have a fairly low pain tolerance, and she ensured I would be comfortable during the procedure (I've already been back for the second of three treatments...so she kept her promise!) I'm not only thrilled with the results of my treatments but also thrilled to be a part of her practice. Her energy and enthusiasm for her work, deep knowledge, and commitment to her patients are all remarkable. She also spent an incredible amount of time getting to know me before she said a word about my skin concerns. And when I sent one of my family members to her practice, they came away loving her just as much as I do. I wasn't surprised. :) I love that Holder was raised right here in Park Slope. It was clear from the first few minutes of our initial conversation that she cares deeply about this community and her patients. Dr. Holder is a gem--and she is right here in Park Slope. I'll never go anywhere else. :)

Here's what I've experienced at this practice and why I recommend it so wholeheartedly: - I first came to Dr. Holder's practice in 2023, wanting to try botox for the first time. It was a new experience, and Dr. Holder listened carefully to understand my expectations and then patiently talked me through everything that I should expect. The way she directs her team before, during, and after procedures instills so much confidence, especially for first time patients. - At the beginning of this year, hormones were wreaking havoc on my skin and giving me with terrible acne and rosacea. Fed up, I sent Dr. Holder's office an email, and they agreed to see me right away. They were so responsive and reassuring. Also, I really appreciate that Dr. Holder doesn't try to sell a custom line of products -- she just thoughtfully directs you to a routine using good old fashioned French pharmacy products and prescriptions when needed. - I've seen Dr. Holder for peels and laser treatments, and I'm just so grateful for how thorough and detail-oriented she is in each of these procedures. She takes prep and after care very seriously. She looks closely at the treatment areas, takes her time, and talks through the treatment so that there are no surprises or unexpected discomfort. Truly amazing bedside manner that instills so much confidence. - Dr. Holder's team is just as amazing as she is. All of the staff are communicative, warm, and hospitable. They're also incredibly smart, detail-oriented, and thoughtful during procedures -- hardly a surprise, but such a rare experience in this city. Since I started seeing Dr. Holder, my skin is noticeably brighter, my complexion is more even, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I have some control over my skin sensitivities. I'm so glad I found this practice, and I hope Dr. Holder never retires!

Her bedside manner is awful and the wait times ridiculous. As a 15 year old she charged me $50 I couldn't afford for cancelling the day before an appointment . So she's allowed to make you wait for hours but if you need a concession to her extremely strict cancellation policy she's heartless. Despite her always booking way too many patients in a day anyway. It's all about the money for her. If you have Medicaid or Medicare she will treat you like garbage. Left work early and got to my appointment 15mins early because I was a new patient and figured they would need some info/run my insurance etc. At 6.30pm I ask the receptionist if it will be much longer she says "yes you have one person in front of you" at which point I pointed out I made an appt and would have appreciated a call if the Dr was running behind so this way I would not have had to leave work early. Needless to say she basically told me if I have an issue let the Dr know. Then 10mins later she tell me the Dr wants me to do a breathing test, to which I ask well the Dr has not seen me yet so how would she know?? Anyway, I go into the test room and recognize the woman who is performing this test as the one that had left 20mins ago and just returned from McDonald's!!! So while she was getting her coffee break I was waiting in the office like an idiot!! So now the visit is complete and the Dr electronically sends my scripts to my pharmacy, they only receive 3 out of the 4.They called all day and no one answered the phone or returned it. So its the weekend and I dont have my rescue inhaler!! For the amount of money spent on insurance this office felt like a Medicaid clinic!! And the last thing that irked me was not only was my co-insurance/copay $200 but I was charged a $5 surcharge because I wanted to use my credit card..who the hell walks around with that kind or cash or checks these days??
