I called cypress Orthopedics, the two staff members that took my info were compassionate and friendly. They got me in to see the doc immediately. Dr. Le beaud was wonderful and kind. He was thorough and took his time with my examination. He prescribed me steroid and something for my pain, it has been one day and I am already feeling much better. I am so thankful that I stumbled upon this place! I will definitely be back in the future If I have more back pain or other injuries.

Then we waited for someone in registration to call my name. A wonderful lady named Sandra Worthy called me and away I went to her office. She was so professional and confident in her job. You could tell she knew how to do her job very well. She had all kinds of awards on her wall. I see why. Way to go Sandra! I then went back to the area they were doing my day procedure. A nurse named April was my nurse for the day. Another excellent staff member! The level of care I received from The Woodlands location was TOP NOTCH! Once the referral was made; I had to call for scheduling since his office didn't call me initially. Two weeks ago after the appointment was set; I was extremely nervous and uneasy about seeing the doctor. I almost backed out of the appointment a few times due to feeling uncomfortable about being seen in such a vulnerable state. Rest assured, I met the office staff, clinic manager which were all very pleasant and patient with me. I was about 4 minutes late for my appointment (since I got turned around in The Woodlands mini medical center). Thankfully, they still took me in. I did have to wait for others to go ahead of me as they still wanted me to do paperwork that wasn't on the check in online portal. Even after completing the paperwork, I still had to verbalize who my other major specialists were. I didn't understand it personally. Anyways outside the office staff, I finally got to meet Dr. Pidala. He was very thorough, informative, great listener, he didn't rush me, and he took great notes. I was still very much nervous when he came in, shook my hand, and introduced himself to me. However, as the assessment with on, he made me feel somewhat comfortable. He completed digital rectal exam on me. I was tense about the whole ordeal, but the medical assistant was present. As he was doing the exam, he explained everything out loud and reassured me. No surprises. Dr. Pidala was very professional. No change in his facial impression. Once everything was done and dandy, Dr. explained what he gathered from the evaluation. He remained on topic and didn't stray away like how my PCP does at times. He valued my time and tried his best to make me feel comfortable. He provided me with recommendations for getting more fiber into my vegan lifestyle. He explained next steps as well and my options. He's a good doctor from my first initial visit is what I've observed.

We all know finding any medical office that…read moreticks all the boxes is hard, and walk-in clinics are usually long waits, front desk staff aren't polite, etc. First off, this location is open until 9PM, even on SUNDAY! thank you, thank you, thank you for that. Second, I was able to choose an appt or start my checkin online or on their app. When I arrived, the receptionist had all of my information. There was only 1 other person there and they told me a 30-45 minute wait, which I assumed there were scheduled appointments and I was being worked in. I only waited about 20 minutes. I was greeted with the sweetest medical assistant - I believe her name was Mary. She assessed my symptoms and ran some initial tests. Dr. Pain came in soon after and asked me a bunch of questions to rule out potential illnesses. She was very thorough! After narrowing it down to bacterial sinusitis, she prescribed me eye drops for my bloodshot eyes, antibiotics, AND one dose of Fluconazole for if I were to get a yeast infection from the antibiotics. WOW! Actually thinking about my health and potential complications in the future?? Amazing! Dr. Pain gave me paper scripts which I thought was odd, given the progressiveness of the clinic itself. But, boy was I glad she did. Most all pharmacies were closed and I was able to bring it to one that was open. Two days later I got a message to my portal checking in on me. I had the option to request a call back from medical staff, message in any questions, or update/extend a work note. This is my new go-to clinic. Thank you Next Level for providing updated technology that makes it easier on everyone and thank you staff for your professionalism and bedside manner!

Overall, it was a very positive experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and efficiently handled my check-in. The facility was clean, modern, and had a welcoming atmosphere, which immediately put me at ease. I didn't have to wait long before being called back, which was a huge relief. (the first time I went) The medical staff were professional and attentive. The provider took the time to listen to my concerns, review my progress, and explain the next steps in my recovery plan in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciated their thoroughness and the genuine care they showed throughout my visit. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that there was a slight delay when I was waiting for my discharge instructions and follow-up care paperwork. While not a major issue, it did make the visit longer than I had anticipated. Despite that minor inconvenience, I would highly recommend Next Level Urgent Care - Spring. He was a patient of Dr. Ali's for eight months, his pain was inadequately managed (no relief at all) despite extensive and well-documented history by this practice. I watched the quality of his life change drastically during this time. He can't even leave the house any longer for more than an hour. Even more upsetting was being asked whether he had seen an "addiction doctor." (Was the last straw) He is a PAIN Dr. he of all people should understand a patient who is exhausted because their pain isn't being managed, desperate, moody, angry because they feel invisible. People living with severe chronic pain are already suffering. They should not leave a pain management appointment feeling judged, dismissed, or ashamed for needing treatment. After everything my brother has endured, he deserved better care, better attention to his medical history, and above all, compassion. He left the office upset to say the least, and said he was done was not coming back. Dr. Ali said he was firing him as well and "I'm not giving him ANY medicine." I went to this appointment to try to advocate for my brother and it was so horrible, stressful and disappointing we just wanted to be heard and have his pain managed.
