This is an absolutely beautiful location; picnic tables, weeping willows, Adirondack chairs facing a large pond, a perfect spot to enjoy wine tasting ($20 at a very small bar but outdoor seating) or just a glass($15). You cannot buy a bottle of their wine. They don't sell bottles, which to me defeats the purpose of "wine tasting." Maybe you can bring your own. They have snacks you can purchase, pizza on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It was somewhat chaotic the day we went as they were hosting a wedding, maybe their first. The Sign to show the ranch location was not set up off the street till later( after we passed it twice), we wandered around the outside of the lodge looking for wine tasting as there is no sign, staff in and out of the main entrances with the wedding preparations a few times bumping into customers. I think more organization is needed but I loved this place. I would recommend to all who visit these area wineries ( Page Springs, Oak Creek, Javalina Leap) to stop at DA to enjoy the scenery and a glass. read more

First off no bottles of wine for sale. 2nd was a $20 wine tasting with 4 samples that were barely an ounce apiece. They said this is a craft winery with limited supplies. Outside area was amicable but dogs everywhere. Just not a very good welcome and it seemed like they weee the "elite" when they weren't. Save your money and avoid this place vehemently. read more

The cabin vibes next to the pond and the family dogs running around made it feel very homey. We had an amazing time and stayed till closing. We wish it was open later!!! The wine was fantastic! Wow, I cannot say enough great things about DA Ranch! Upon arrival, the property is just beautiful! We walked in and were greeted nicely. We did the wine tasting and in between each glass we walked to a different spot on the property. First we visited the outdoor pond seating area. It was gorgeous with several chairs, a small creek, and a pond. There were several hanging string lights that gave a great ambiance once the sun started to set. Then we walked over to the horse, donkey and goats. Apparently they have 70 goats! The horse and donkey were so friendly and ate grass right out of our hand. They loved to be pet and came running over when we walked up! Next we grabbed some s'mores ingredients from the free s'mores bar and made our way outside to the beautiful fire pit. We roasted marshmellows and ate a lot of s'mores! Last we went upstairs to the game room where there's a pool table and darts. We played an intense game of darts in between the rest of our tastings! The employees were quick to tell us about the property and everything it had to offer! On the way out we sat on the outdoor swing and watched the sunset! If you're in Sedona, this is the vineyard to see! I can't imagine how much prettier it is when the grapes are in season. We visited a few vineyards during our time here and this was by far our favorite! Highly recommend and we will be back! read more

We visited DA Ranch for a wine tasting. Upon entering the grounds, we knew we were in for something special. This a spectacular piece of property that the owners have taken the time to make beautiful. While we weren't there for a wedding, I can see how this would be a beautiful spot! The wine tasting was a lot of fun. The young lady was very knowledgeable about the history of the ranch, the vineyards, the different grapes and the wine. This is the first Arizona wine that I have enjoyed enough to buy. Most of the Arizona wines are 'young', or light/thin. The winemaker for DA Ranch has really gotten the most out of the grapes. The syrah is excellent! I highly recommend that you put this on your list of places to visit in the Sedona area. You do need an appointment but it is worth it! read more

Such a beautiful vineyard to pop over to for a tasting, a glass of wine, and to roam their beautiful premises. YELPS HOURS ARE WRONG! We almost missed this gem because yelp shows that they are closed all days but Wednesdays. On our way to another vineyards we saw DA Ranch's sign at the base of their driveway saying they were open for tastings. We pulled a u turn and were so happy we saw that sign! They operate out of a beautiful log cabin and you have free reign to hang out throughout the house, game room, take a walk around their stream and pond and to play with their baby goats and donkeys through the fence. They'll even get the fire pits going for you to make s'mores if you'd like. We highly recommend stopping by this location, we loved it. read more

This place is so cool and neat. You literally drive like a mile on a rocky pathway to finally reach the wine tasting room or I should say house. The grounds are amazing and love the fact that they grow the grapes on site. It's not just coming from Wilcox. Your actually tasting the dirt and the air which it should how it be. The house has the Ranch feel which is neat and has outside patio all around the house that is great to take in the atmosphere. The service was great. I believe her name is Diana which she is from NY and does has the accent. She loves wine and has a passion for it. We talked about so many things about wine that I loved it. We also did a vertical tasting which means you try the same type of wine but different years. It was so cool to try the different years and how it develops. I think every winery should have this. Now here is where I have a problem with this place is the price point. You can't or shouldn't be serving red wine in 1 year. It taste sour, tanic, pretty much too young. The flavors haven't developed yet and it needs more time. Just when we did the vertical taste everyone loved the older one because it developed some nice flavors. I think this in an AZ thing because lots of places out here do this but it doesn't make it right. Also the pricing of the bottles such as $70 or $80 is way to high!!! We almost didn't drive up the rock paved road to the winery, because we didn't know what to expect. We saw the sign on the road and wanted wine. What a diamond in the rough! The entire region has become better and better at producing top quality wines and DA Ranch is no exception ... but to enjoy it in a setting like this was just the highlight of our trip. We stayed at least twice as long as expected, were treated as if we were the only people there, and never once got the feeling of presumptuousness. Sat down by the lake, under the willow trees and just let nature take over. Walked around to say hello to all the animals and even enjoyed the rope swing. Please make sure they will be open when you visit but make this a must stop. Just got back and can't wait to enjoy some of the wine we took home with us. read more

Their flights are $20 each for ONE ounce of wine... so basically a sip. I would definitely just buy a bottle or BRING a bottle and buy a glass.... also bring your own snacks because their snacks are very pricey.
