Parmigiana
John W.

Mirco set up a fantastic pickup service. He takes care that the food tastes as good as home as it did in the restaurant. Some of the dishes require minimal preparation at home, instructions are easy and the results have consistently been amazing. I highly recommend the parmigiana, it's the best I have ever tasted in- and outside of Italy. (And no work is required after bringing it home.)

There was nothing about this place that I didn't enjoy. Everything from the hospitality to the meal…read morewas absolutely phenomenal. What caught my attention as I was browsing restaurants on the web was their extensive, separate vegan menu, which includes a handful of delightful desserts. I started with the tomato basil soup which was very tasty. For my main course I had the vegan Bolognese which was accompanied by vegan garlic bread and was very happy with it. They were so kind to let me taste the vegan mozzarella they make in house and after 3 and a half years of being vegan I can honestly say it was the best vegan mozzarella I have ever tasted. I ended with the vegan chocolate cake which was served with a very delicious fruit of the forest ice cream. It was almost brownie-like and there was no shortage of chocolate. I could have licked the plate clean. My brother had the lasagna on the main menu and said it was in the top three lasagnas that he has had in the WORLD. His wife had the Tagliatelle Mari & Monti who said it was absolutely delightful and not too fishy. They also finished with a chocolate cake (which was not vegan) and said it was delicious. Everyone was very kind, including the owners daughter, whose name I unfortunately did not catch. The food was so good I envisioned moving here and eating here every week. Extremely thrilled I convinced them to accompany me at this wonderfully delightful restaurant. I will be back in the near future and already cannot wait!

Very impressed only complaint is that there is currently no early bird menu for vegan menu. Kids eat free Sunday which is great for family's.

One of Cork's better restaurants - pasta and steak there are both delicious. Also recommend the…read morebannoffee pie. At around €10-€15 a head to eat here, its very good value. Service was also excellent.

A MAJOR LET DOWN! I was treated to a meal here last night by a family member. I am a vegetarian and…read morethey had very little options catering for vegetarians on the menu. I asked could they suggest something and they suggested a €16 bowl of pasta. I went with that thinking it would be an epic taste sensation, gosh was I wrong! The penne pasta wasn't of a great quality and was under cooked. The Sauce was described as creamy tomato and was more like chutney. I ate some of it as I did not want to seem rude to the person who I was with who was paying for the meal. It was just a very odd dish and was very basic compared to how it was described to me. I had a banoffi for desert. It was one of those mass produced catering deserts, I would compare it to economy aeroplane food on a bad airline. It tasted very synthetic. The cream part had a powdery texture and just didn't taste fresh at all and the biscuit/cardboard base was soggy. This was priced also at the high end of the scale. For the standard of desert I would have to say I think that it was robbery. The actual restaurant was freezing from when we arrived until leaving. I had to keep my scarf and jacket on for the whole meal. On looking at the one other table of 2 facing us they had also kept their coats on. (I don't know how I would even rate the staff as they were neither present nor engaging). If I was to some up the experience I would say it was like having an Aldi style ready made meal in Siberia.
