After which we had a mushroom and cheese pizza that was cooked to perfection, enjoyed every slice of it. For the main dish we enjoyed a paccheri pasta dish with very light tomato broth, zucchini and shrimps. I would say it was top notch delicious. We paired it very well with a bottle of Chianti. These little family run restaurants are getting harder and harder to find, so we were very happy to have been invited here by our friends. It's definitely going to be one of our go to places.

It did take them 40 minutes to take our orders. There was only 1 server and the owners working so it was understandable. I had great company and a delicious Aperol spritz to keep us company. The food was delicious. We got the arugula salad, grilled calamari, and seafood linguine. I got a tiramisu for my birthday dessert and it was delicious. They have not one, not two but six types of risotto, some of which are quite exotic. Timo tower was fried eggplant, tomato, Asiago & fior di latte. For this sort of relatively simple dish, you need top quality ingredients, but the eggplant was cold & not fresh or crispy (by design) & the tomato, while big, was not as fresh or ripe as it should have been. The cheese was pretty good though. Kayla risotto was good & rich. New York steak was good with good quality meat & a nice char. The potatoes & veggies were not just boiled but roasted. The sauce was subtle & complemented the dish. The freshly ground pepper was not just black but red too.
