There was some girls working behind the counter and I asked if they had iced tea. The one girl said "we do here, but I don't know over there" ... evidently there's two different departments behind the counter. As I was waiting for someone to elaborate, they walk away from the counter. I asked the one girl who initially rung me up, and she said "I don't know" ‍. Came here today as a lunch date and compromise to wanting Poke but my girlfriend wanting hot food. I won't talk about her food but I ordered the Poke bowl & the Poke Hand Roll. The hand roll was actually good and had salmon, crab and rice wrapped in seaweed! However the poke bowl was just.... Not good. It was SALTY beyond belief it was so hard to get down but I didn't want to disappoint my girlfriend because this place her idea. They also place the fish above onions and ginger? It wasn't good. I had to pick out all the onions and put them aside. It only came with (off colored, possibly marinated?) Tuna but maybe I could've asked for salmon instead? I'm not sure but overall not my favorite and I'll be only getting Poke from a place that only serves Poke. If we come back and I get a different hot dish and enjoy it I'll update my review but until then I think a 4/10 is about where I sit. read more

Great new Hawaiian food place with a local island feel. As soon as we walked in you know it's good if local islanders are already sitting eating. Thanks to Yelp I found this place because its a bit off the beaten path. My husband ordered the Loco Moco which he loved, the portion size was awesome for the price. He loved the excess gravy and the hamburger was marinated nicely and moist not dry. My parents got a mango smoothie and they loved it! I ordered a spicy mayo poke bowl and I really liked it too. Not the greatest but it was good enough! But I am from the islands so I have had a poke bowl or 2. Because I was a yelp elite they also gave us malasadas to try. They are super huge which I loved. They don't make it like that anymore. I didn't try because of my diet restrictions but my family liked them a lot. Another Plus is they serve breakfast all day. Spam, portugese sausage, eggs and rice, its all you need! If you haven't tried this place it's a great find. Not a lot of seating, but they serve the food in high quality meal prep containers. I live right across the street from their nee location and have been about 6 times. 4/6 times I've been there the food was stellar, very well seasoned. The other 2 times, not so much, bland with just sauce on it. The front of house girls are great, good customer service and good ambience. Will be back for sure. read more

Interesting little place. I'd have never found it if I weren't specifically looking for it. They cater for dinner during the weeknights at the hospital in town, TVH. So I've had it there a few times and it was very good. I decided to try their shop one night and wasn't disappointed. I get the idea they're a family run business, I'm not sure though. Very friendly every time I've gone. I've gotten chicken most times, and loved it every time. Can't remember the other thing I got, but I know I liked that too. Prices a bit high, but not too bad. Definitely a nice change in Temecula. I got the Musubi, Jalapeño Poké, Coconut filled Donuts and mac salad. I was incredibly disappointed in the Jalapeño Poké. It seemed as though they poured Pace Salsa on it with pickled Jalapeño. I was hoping for fresh peppers and not a tomato sauce with it. I tried a bite of the Soy Sauce Poké and it was much better, hence the 3 stars and not 2. Also, the Mac salad was amazing and the donut was, as well. Cute little place, tucked away in a corner. If you're not paying attention, you just might miss the entrance! :) came here a few weeks ago, and ordered their spicy poke and their chicken teriyaki chicken. I also met the owner, and had a little conversation with her. Owners are super nice and service was warm and friendly. Now for the food, as mentioned I got the spicy poke. The fish itself was good, however the spice level to the dish wasn't there. I found it to be very mild. As for their teriyaki chicken, portion is huge...the chicken though, is another story. I found the chicken to be on the salty side. You've got the poke with no spice, then over salty chicken. Regardless of that, I'll come back here again and support the small local business. I really like Hawaiian food but I will never again eat here. I am really sorry to say this but the food was gross. I ordered the short ribs, I have had this many times at multiple different places, this was by far the worst. Every single bite I took was a mouth full of tiny bones. I felt like the bone was crushed up into the meat. I could not eat it, the flavor of the short ribs was off as well. My husband ordered...I am not even sure what exactly that was but it was terrible. I ordered the chicken strips, not sure what the actual name is, for my kids and I refused to let them eat it. It was truly horrible. Two words: holy crap. I was beyond surprised on how flavorful and delicious the food was. I got the main pork plate and a mini version for my one year old. That pork was PERFECT, so moist and juicy. The flavor was so nice and rich and paired with a nice Mac salad. They even had the same sweet chili sauce that I remember eating in the Philippines! Brought back so many memories. So glad to say that they have their own little spot tucked away off Temecula Parkway! First walking in, it's an extremely small restaurant but the decor and color inside is just so cute ! They also had array of items to purchase that included specialty foods transported from Hawaii. Today I came in with my family and we all ordered a couple different items off of their menu , I ordered the Spicy Mayo Poke Bowl that came with Seaweed Salad, Imitation Crab, a choice of Brown/White Rice or Tossed Salad Greens And Masago to top it all off (10.95) . I definitely thought it was a great and reasonable price for the amount of food that I got. My husband ordered the Italians Poke bowl which came with all the same items but he got white rice instead of the tossed salsa greens . The food came within a good time and barely had any wait. All of our food came out at the same time and everything was pretty fresh! The customer service was so warm and welcoming and the owners seem very genuine! One thing that I'm super excited about is that , they ALSO have MALADAS! These are my absolute favorite ! It's kinda like an islander style of a donut . But in my opinion, much better! We're not from the area so I wouldn't be able to compare it to any of the local Temecula spots. We had a few items on their menu and although the food was good, I just couldn't rate it great. I've had BBQ Mix plates from all sorts of islander restaurants, everything from Guamanian to Hawaiian, and this one just seemed basic in comparison. Malasadas were rock hard (like crispified in oil and then set under a heat lamp to become a rock) & poke and seaweed in poke bowl was super fishy and tasted like it had turned. Threw it all away. It's located in plaza and the place itself is small, but there's a huge sign in the front so you can't miss it! Parking isn't an issue either, since the plaza has a large parking lot. My boyfriend got the breakfast plate with Sausage, Spam, Egg, and Rice. I had some of his plate and the food was really good! It was definitely filling as well! I got the Vegan Teriyaki Plate which has rice, macaroni salad, and what I believe is mushroom in teriyaki sauce (correct me if I'm wrong). It was delicious as well!
