While you wait, there is a step and repeat backdrop for photos. Once we were seated, it was like we were transformed into a 1980s/ 1990s Barbie dreamworld. There is even a life-size doll box for pictures to stand in. Pictures are encouraged. To start we had the beet hummus which was pink and delicious. We also had the spinach dip which was also delicious. The appetizers came out reasonably fast. Most of us had burgers for our meals. The food came out pretty quickly, however two of burgers took an extra 30 minutes. They did comp those. Once you are done walk over to the outside part. The the design, music and overall atmosphere, creates an environment in the café that makes you feel like you are walking into a Barbie dream house! The food at the Malibu Barbie Café has a lot of casual offerings, but with a twist that reflects the world of Barbie, so you have things such as the Pacific Paradise pancakes, salads, tenders, and unique desserts. They have ice creams and smoothies and I think are affiliated with Tropicana brand orange juice. The last time we were in Vegas, it was really dry and we needed some vitamin C so we stopped by Tropicana to get a smoothie. They were so delicious I think they may have slipped a little crack in them because we were literally craving them and ended up getting one every day while there.

The food was delicious featuring way to incorporate Tostitos in your daily Sunday food recipes. I've never been to a pop-up restaurant before and this restaurant did not let us down. Can't wait for another opportunity for an experience such as this one. Found this pop-up restaurant through Instagram. Had the dinner experience down stairs and then there was a rooftop bar upstairs. Great service and the staff are so friendly.
