After many disappointing meals in Roma, what a pleasant surprise to find a really excellent seafood place in Pozzuoli. My family really enjoyed the seafood "soup". For 40 euros. We were a little skeptical as there many whole fish in the soup, but the waiter insisted it was really good. So we ordered it. Boy were we glad we did. That was the best seafood stew platter we ever had and we are NY food snobs. Everything we ordered was excellent, starting with that soup, pasta with clams, pasta with seafood, fresh octopus and fried calamari. Oh my.... even my son who does not enjoy seafood loved them! Food for four came to 90 euros or so which we thought was really reasonable. Give this place a try if you are in the area. read more

Come here for the prixe fix menu but give yourself plenty of time…read more The food is delicious and served in huge portions but it comes out little by little and can take up to 3 hours or more. Perfect if you have the time and want to sip some wine while eating with a few friends.

Each course was delicious, light and savory all at once. We arrived at 8pm and had the downstairs to ourselves until near the end of dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful as it's built into the tunnels of Napoli of years ago. Great dinner! We'll do it again soon.
