We were seated and greeted promptly despite a wind storm starting right as we arrived for dinner. The view of Lake Garda from our table was stunning, providing a beautiful dinner atmosphere despite the wind and occasional lightening in the distance. For appetizers I had the mussels which were amazing; fresh with a lightly spiced tomato broth (I'd go back just for the mussels) my husband had thinly pounded beef with mozzarella and a pesto oil which he enjoyed. For our mains my husband finally got the Italian pizza he was craving with a thin crispy crust and perfect amount of toppings. I had the prawn gnocchi and it was simple delicious, a nice fresh tomato sauce with a light seafood taste and soft plump pillows of potato, so tasty! Finally for dessert I had a fresh slightly tart and very refreshing lemon gelato while my husband had a caramel pana cotta...his pana cotta had amazing flavors but sadly was not set, but that is the only flaw we had the entire meal and he still ate every spoonful. If you're in the area this is the best place to stop for dinner. read more
