It was ready 15 minutes later; it was nice and piping hot. You must pay with cash for any meal total under 60 euros. I got home and dug in. Sadly, the taste was mediocre. The pasta was perfectly cooked, but the sauce tasted bland and the ingredients didn't combine well, which is odd, because most of them I combine on a pizza without a problem. The cheese had an odd taste to it as well, so I didn't eat it. The meal was inexpensive, but not very good.

Service was excellent, and the owners spoke German, Italian, English (and probably more languages given the region's proximity to multiple countries). We didn't have a dinner reservation so were seated outside on the charming patio (2 sections, one with heaters close to the restaurant, and the other further away with blankets).

Secondly it was our third night in Germany and our seventh time dining out and this was the ONLY place that charged for tap water!
