I requested for an appointment online more than a week in advance and received a confirmation text the same day. I received a text to confirm my appointment 2 days prior and then a second text reminder text the day before. I read that if you don't cancel 24 hours in advance then they will charge you the full amount of the service. My appointment was with Illiana and all went well. She made me feel comfortable and it was almost painless. I would come back again. It's a few dollars less expensive if you pay with cash and I happened to have cash on me so I saved a few bucks.

When I followed up, the owner explained that shaping is required with brow lamination and that avoiding the underside is not something they do because it does not meet their standards. My issue is that this was not explained to me before the service began. If my request could not be accommodated, I should have been told so I could decide whether to continue. I requested a refund, but it was denied because the service was completed and their policy says services are non-refundable. Overall, this was disappointing. For me, the issue was communication and feeling like a clear boundary I stated before the appointment was not honored.
