Nice, modern and surprisingly cheap hotel in Blera (we had shelled out more for some B&Bs that year), or rather in the part of town on the other side of the Fosso Biedano (breathtaking bridge over the ravine included in the trip to the hotel).
The da Beccone consists of two main buildings: the (relatively speaking) smaller restaurant in front and the actual hotel building, the two separated by a well-tendered garden. Behind the hotel building you find ample parking space (and a small football pitch, if you need an outlet for your boundless energy). Integrated in the restaurant's terrace you also find a swimming pool for hotel guests (see above).
The restaurant - which also serves as bar and hotel reception - offers practically the whole range from a quick pizza and a cool beer to a multi-course meal with a local bend and the meal we had certainly did do it credit. read more
