The aftermath 1 hour later from me posting this: was any discount shouldn't affect the quality of the work the customer expects, secondly why would you place the same person who screwed up to do it again when he said "if I do it again it will come out the same way," third you failed the warranty why would I ever trust Mad Guy Auto Detailing again. Whether it's Yelp, Facebook, or the BBB, preventing you from taking advantage of someone else is the new purpose of this message.

I took my Ford Focus S to get a Carbon Ceramic tint with the minimum legal VLT of 25% for the…read moredriver/passenger front windows and a 5% VLT on the rear doors and back window with a lifetime warranty. The job took a few hours, and I was told to wait 2 weeks before rolling down the windows or touching the tint. I am super pleased with the work. First, it's really dark, and the privacy is greatly improved (see attached pics). Second, the tint I got also have UV and Infrared blocking flilm, so my car is SO much cooler in the summer now. I'm saving fuel efficiency by not running the AC so hard now. The guy who did the tint did an awesome job and was very patient and knowledgeable when answering all my questions. No complaints whatsoever. Note: I had the tint done around the end of 2022. I think something happened to the guy who did my tint because MGA is at the time I write this looking for an employee to do tints. (I'm waiting to do my F-150 with Mad Guys.) All in all, I'm very satisfied. The pricing is good. I paid $275 (including tax) for the work on my focus. I was quoted $285 for the same job on my truck. That's a good deal for the results. I couldnt' recommend them more.

The quality seemed very good until I rolled down my windows for the first time and the corners peeled. I called and was told my tint has lifetime warranty. I took it in 4 days later and was taken straight in to have the tint replaced. Great product, great price and they stand behind their product.

I made an appointment and they took it in when I arrived. The lady at the front was super helpful at explaining all options and even went out to look at the vehicle for factory tint. I loved the option to use the blue tint for the windshield!! My truck looks exceptional and in this Texas heat in July it's perfect for the easy ride. On August 7th, I went to Fix a Crack to have my windshield replaced. Alicia recommended a…read moreprotective film to prevent future cracks, which I purchased for $640. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later, the windshield cracked again. I contacted Alicia and she told me to bring the car back so they could fix it. At no point did she mention there would be an additional fee. When I brought the car in, Steven (her husband) removed the film and assured me he would replace it at their expense and "take the loss." However, after repairing the crack, Alicia charged me another $95--even though I explained I have unlimited windshield warranty coverage through Honda and wouldn't have been charged for a replacement elsewhere. To make matters worse, she later refused to reinstall the protective film I had already paid for, instead offering only a discount if I bought a new one. In the end, I lost the $640 film I purchased, paid an extra $95, and was left with a cracked windshield. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this product or business.
