I had basic questions answered over the phone and was able to make an appointment on the next day! I even called back to switch times and this was done accordingly. The initial appointment was friendly. They are high tech from the new patient questionnaire to the final signatures. Dr. Lin was nice in looking over my xray and givingn me options on the next step to take. He gave me a minute to think over my options and the receptionist gave me a breakdown of pricing. I didnt feel pressured and this was a big big deal since these visits are usually co$$$$$tly. Once I decided my demise, Dr. Lin was very thorough in telling me what he is doing and making sure I breathe correctly during procedure. He warned me of possible pressure and pain and stayed consistent in telling me to breathe. The new office member was able to watch my extraction. The procedure was painless and done in minutes. Dr. Lin tried to show me my tooth and accidentally dropped it. Though that was a bit unsanitary the clinic overall was sanitarily comfortable to be at despite the circumstances!

Months later I got 21teeth pulled and had dentures. Not only was it bad thing but I was not able to get them to stay so I could not eat anything but soup for 4 months. It got so bad that I was put on suicide watch. I was able to find someone to help me get out of this mess. And now I can eat. I would not recommend DrYork or this office to anyone. The billing department is contacted with insurance companies for an agreed price and no more than that amount. They push the extra back to the patient and this not agencies the insurance policies. When asked to talk to the billing department they said that they can only email them and they do not have a phone number. They referred to get me any information. So since all of this I had to get a 49,000.00 dollar loan to get everything fixed. And I'm still waiting to get some of my money back from them. I played 3,000.00 and insurance payed 7000.00 for dentures. Wow someone got a lot of money for nothing.

Another staff member insisted I didn't have insurance, despite the fact that I absolutely do and make monthly payments toward it. She repeatedly argued with me about it instead of trying to help. I came in with a dental emergency because my tooth had broken and I was in significant pain. I misunderstood and thought they would be able to treat or repair it that day, but instead they only took X-rays and examined it briefly before telling me I'd need to schedule another appointment a week later. The overall experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. The waiting room was extremely hot, the paperwork process was excessive (9 pages on an iPad, including requests for photos of my driver's license and multiple "profile pictures" of my face), and the staff seemed annoyed that I wasn't completing everything quickly enough while they continued interrupting me with questions. I honestly spent more time filling out paperwork than I did speaking with the dentist. The dentist never introduced himself, looked in my mouth for less than a minute, said "yep, it's broken," and walked out. I also had to ask multiple times for copies of my X-rays and was repeatedly told no until Faith, who handled the payment plans, stepped in and kindly printed them for me without issue. She was the only genuinely pleasant and helpful person I interacted with there. On top of everything else, the office closed an hour earlier than posted, which seemed odd. Thankfully, I found another dentist who was much more professional and compassionate, and I'll be continuing treatment there instead.
