Even their gloves are too tiny for my slender hands! I get stared at like I'm a freak from a freak show. And every other minute someone asks me if I need help before I touch or feel an aticle in the shop, as if my touch will make their "gold" turn into poison! The shop is packed with racks of clothes and a few accessories. I usually would enter in for a change of atmosphere or when extremely bored. I never buy anything because it doesn't fit or the prices are just too damn high! $74.00 for a pair of gloves! Seriously? Most of their garments are nothing special. You can get the same or better at a place called Coquette in Garden City, NY for a fraction of the price. I know we're in rich Nassau County, but if you think your stuff is hot sh't you should have gotten a shop in a trendier location. Good luck and happy shops!

Honestly, we drove 45 minutes to go to this boutique after having terrible experiences elsewhere, and our experience was wonderful. However, after we brought the dresses home, my one daughter wanted to try the dress on pre-prom just to make sure that everything looks ok. I had such a hard time with the zipper that I could not get it up at all! I called back the store to explain my concerns and got a very attitudey owner telling me that there was nothing wrong with the dress and it needed to be zipped up a certain way. Never in the two fittings that we had did they explain that it needed to be zipped up a certain way. In fact I never heard of such a thing, as this was a zipper and shouldn't the size of the dress if measured correctly be easy to pull up?? I tried doing it "her way" and was still struggling with the zipper. I called them back and again all she kept saying "well theres nothing wrong with the dress, but if you are still having problems, you can bring it back on Thursday and we can help you because we are closed till then". First off I called on a Sunday and the actual prom was on a Thursday. To me this is very poor customer service. What place is closed for 3 days during prom season and if you really cared about me as a customer wouldn't you make an exception and see me so we can see if there is something wrong with the dress or at least advise me of another place that could help me with my issue? The staff are so courteous and have a good vibe/relationship with their customers right when you enter you are greeted with a smile and "hello how are you". If you don't really need help they will back off give your space and not be to pushy. They help you find the best thing for you. Whether it's clothing, prom dress, party outfit, batmitzvahs, or a sweet sixteen, they know exactly what to let you try on they are honest. I was there recently looking for a prom dress, they let n try a variety of beatiful dresses, and finally found a gorgeous dress to fit my personality that made me feel good and flattered my body type. But what stood out the most to me was that they were on my side they helped me find my own image not what my mother wanted, they ask what I wanted and I loved it, they stick up for the young girls. The next week the gown arrived- it was the wrong gown in the wrong color. New gown was ordered and express shipped to store. Color was right, gown still wrong. Owner of this shop has not even reached out once after multiple calls to apologize for the inconvenience or even offer some kind of break after all this trouble (and still having the wrong dress). I would never come back here or recommend anyone go here. Owner is a terrible business person and should be ashamed of themselves for not doing right by customers. My one star was for the 2 sales people who helped me when I went to pick up the dress. Days go by and the tracking still says UPS is waiting for the package. I reach out and I am told that they will reach out to UPS. Another day goes by so I reach out again for an update (you would think they would reach out to me if they really called UPS). I ask for an update and i am told "Hi! Yes. The issue was the product sold out before we could ship :( We are issuing you a refund today." DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL. Why say you will call UPS if it already sold out? Plus, why let me complete the purchase if it was already sold out? I was given a tracking number 5 DAYS after my order was placed confirming it was shipped out. I have had another friend experience a situation where the item actually did sell out where she placed the order and then she was automatically refunded WITHOUT getting a tracking number. Be careful shopping here. This situation will have me not shopping here anymore. VERY sketchy. I know I was not told the real reason. Probably gave away my item yet I already claimed it will my order. If an order is placed and you are reviewing that order and see it is sold out you should contact the buyer and not provide a tracking number. Not wait for the buyer to contact you.
