I met with Ray at 4 Brothers and I asked quite a few questions to gauge how knowledgeable he was and his approach on the project. The roofline would require a few complex angles and structural changes. Ray understood what it would take and pointed out several improvements for the build that would save money and add value to the project. We agreed and signed a contract. The carpenters began the work on Saturday and in 6 hours have the walls and joists up. The work continued on Monday. Adian, Juan, Homer and the crew were very fast and efficient with materials. They listened to my concerns and were very supportive. They got them whole job done by Tuesday, on time and on budget and cleaned up the site. I've had several friends over since and they were really impressed with the build quality and thoroughness. It's really nice when you show off your project and the Monday morning quarterbacks can't make any comments on how this or that should have been done better. In fact, they were so impressed they wanted 4 Brothers contact info for their own stuff. If you're a low grade DIYer like me, you want help for big jobs but you may have concerns about the honesty, craftsmanship, and communication of a builder. D Square just completed leveling our new home on Oleander St., in Lake Jackson, TX. I have to say, we were greatly impresses with the work crew. They completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned everything after completion. The dirt that was displaced was spread evenly around the edge of the foundation and looked great. They also completed a job for our grandson and his wife in Freeport, TX and again they did a fantastic job. We highly recommend them for your house leveling project. read more

They came out, examined the foundation, and recommended that I don't repair it. Their technician said that one corner of the house had some movement, but he didn't think it needed immediate attention. He even told me how I could repair the back door so it would close properly. He was very friendly with my tenant and very communicative with me. If my foundation gets worse and needs repair in the future, I'll definitely be calling them! They've earned my trust. read more

What counts is what happens when you are deep into the project and you decide you want extra power outlets someplace, or you want something really off-the-wall-custom. His crew worked all hours of the day until the evening for 3 weeks. We replaced our subfloors and had original hardwood floors which they salvaged 60% of the original floors. We decided to go with a lighter stain rather than the dark that we had, and it makes our small home look so much bigger. We also replaced some joists, pier and beams from our crawl space and they cleaned out our crawl space and put plastic down to encapsulate it with new vents that open and close with high or low humidity levels. They cleaned up all the leftover mess of wood and bricks which was much appreciated. It was a big job and everyone worked super hard even on the weekends. The price we got quoted from 4 other companies were ridiculous, and Shaun had the best rates for what they did. He made himself available via phone, text, email, and in person. This was my first time dealing with hail damage, and Eric walked me through the entire process, including how to deal with my insurance and mortgage companies (claims, inspections, checks, endorsements--everything). He set expectations about when the work would be done, followed up with reminders, and came by multiple times to check the work in progress. The crew who did the work was great; they put tarps down everywhere before tearing off the old roof and cleaned up after they were done. They were really thorough and left no trace behind. I honestly thought replacing my roof was going to be a giant hassle and that I would be fighting everyone involved to get it done. Instead, Eric made it a breeze, and it was completely stress-free.
