The roofline would require a few complex angles and structural changes. Ray understood what it would take and pointed out several improvements for the build that would save money and add value to the project. We agreed and signed a contract. The carpenters began the work on Saturday and in 6 hours have the walls and joists up. The work continued on Monday. Adian, Juan, Homer and the crew were very fast and efficient with materials. They listened to my concerns and were very supportive. They got them whole job done by Tuesday, on time and on budget and cleaned up the site. I've had several friends over since and they were really impressed with the build quality and thoroughness. It's really nice when you show off your project and the Monday morning quarterbacks can't make any comments on how this or that should have been done better. He also helped install new flooring to our attic space, and completed several projects for my in-laws (flooring, roofing, water heater replacement, drywall repair). We finally found our handyman! He is communicative, courteous, and extremely trustworthy. He completes his work from start to finish with the utmost detail. I mean the level of detail that is usually reserved for one's own home or close family members. It speaks to the man's code of ethics. He believes in honest work at an honest price within a reasonable timeframe. His prices are extremely fair, that is not to say cheap or expensive, but fair for the quality of work being done. The grout wasn't properly mixed, and my tiles and schluter are lifting 8 months after it is installed. I had my floor redone from tile to wood , they didn't float the floor properly, you can see gaps in the baseboard and see many area that had hump which cause the floor to crack. Electrical wiring for my dishwasher wasn't properly installed, even best buy didn't want to touch it. The only good thing I can really say is window installation was done well. It's excuses after excuses. Whenever I asked to get it fixed, it seems like David was doing my a favor. I would steer clear.
