Went to this studio because it had so many good reviews and it did not disappoint. I got my hair cut by Jose and he did such an amazing job, he knew exactly what to do. I am definitely going here again in the future. read more

I did a walk in even though on their website it says appointment only. They said it would be 30 minutes before someone could help me, but I was helped 4 minutes after sitting to wait. Jose cut two inches off my hair and straightened it, all after shampooing and conditioning it. The price was what I expected. The service was not amazing, but not short from pleasant. I'm happy with the results and my overall visit. read more

Started going to this Salon for over a year as moved here from Houston. Was recommend by a close friend and Jose the owner was the stylist whom I made my appointment with. I told him how I liked my color and style and in the beginning he did an amazing job. As time goes by I noticed he colored my hair the way he felt like it and cut my hair depending on his mood of the day. I've always scheduled my appointments ahead of time and never missed them. When he needed to cancel my appointments to work around his schedule he never could accommodate my needs . I should have known something was going on when my friend whom referred him to me stopped going to the Salon. I had an appointment with him on a Saturday I showed up for my appointment and was told he tried to call me to reschedule, come to find out he was calling the wrong number ( was a client for over a year and didn't have the correct number) I was upset but the other stylist said I can do your color and then you can reschedule the cut with him. I was hesitant at first but needed my hair colored in a bad way, well I should have known better as soon as she had an issue with reaching the top of my hair, well the nightmare was when she rinsed my hair and was trying to use different shampoos to hide the fact she had no idea what she was doing! Clearly she needs more training..... I said how can I fix this ? I was terrible upset and told her to ask Jose to call me as soon as possible to schedule an appointment to fix my blue / orange hair. This was on a Saturday and the Salon was closed on Monday so I called on Tuesday and Jose said he had no time to fix my hair and could refund my money . This Salon only has 3 stylists including the owner Jose. The owner is a horrible stylist and doesn't have the decency to take pride in his work or business. Would not recommend this Salon...... only gave 1 star because there was no option for a thumbs down! I was made to feel I was in the wrong because the Stylist had no idea what she was doing. Very unprofessional staff ! Oh and Jose called me saying he refunded my money and canceled all my existing appointments and no longer wanted to do business with me , did he think for one moment I was ever going back ! Think twice before going to that low class Salon . read more

Omar cut, colored, and styled my wife's hair and did a phenomenal job. It was the first time she had gotten her hair cut differently in probably a decade so she was a little nervous. Let me just say, she looked AMAZING afterwards. I couldn't help but stare and smile. Omar told her that he also cuts men hair and its $15. I've been going to Gentlemens republic but I've had mixed results and its way more expensive. I had Omar cut my hair and he included a shampoo, not sure if it's part of the price or he's just nice. He is very personable and cares a lot about making you look good. Everywhere I move I try to find one barber to cut my hair. It's been 9 months in El Paso and I'm thabkful to have finally found the one! Thanks Omar! read more

Scheduling/stylists are unreliable. Owner needs to listen to customer's concerns rather than immediately being defensive.

This place is so good. I had my eyebrows done there and they did an amazing job, I've always used Ulta brow bars but never again. I also used them to have my makeup professionally done for my DA photo and it came out soooo good. There prices are great and I love their customer service. Great place!! read more

This place is BEYOND amazing. Brenda cut and highlighted my hair. I have never dyed my hair at all and she was so patient , explained every step to me and was very knowledgeable. Gabby and Omar were also there and they were so sweet and also knowledgeable. If you need a color or cut go to this place, you won't be disappointed. Thank you BRENDA YOU'RE THE BEST read more

I used to come to get my hair cut here 3years ago with Gaby. She was booked weeks ahead. I Moved back to EP wanted a very short bob hairstyle, like ive had once. I showed pictures and then Omar started. At the end i didnt get what i wanted. He said he had another appt, which I understand. He was not willing to keep working on my hair. Didnt want to help me out and make another appt. Nobody did. I felt so kicked out/ unwelcome. I even called back and got the runaround. I kept scratching my head wondering what i did wrong. He just said he cant do my hair the way i wanted it? Their website show different haircuts. False advertising I guess. Fortunately, the guy didnt charge me for the haircut, just color. In the end when people dont want to continue to do your hair, is because they dont know what they are doing and they dont want the challenge, or for some reason they just didnt like you. Its ok i moved on to someone else i know. Guess they have gotten so big that they dont care to keep old customers. read more

Omar was so awesome with my grandma who turns 90 next month. She is in a walker and he was patient and accommodating. She had her hair colored and cut. Awesome!!! I'm new to the area and have loved my stylists in the past from other cities. I was way overdue on a hair cut and color but was kind of not looking forward to going in to a new place. I've been researching and was pleasantly surprised when I saw other reviews for D'Saenz. I decided to give them a shot. Called today and Omar had a cancellation, so he was able to fit me in right away. He did an awesome job and listened to what I wanted. I showed him a picture of the color that I wanted and he did just that! He took his time, we had great conversation, and the price was super reasonable! So glad that I went with this salon! read more

Rosemary did an amazing job. She gave me the exact color I wanted and was very kind and professional. I finally found my place.

It is a great experience for my kids and wife. My daughters go there all the time to get their hair done. Brought my one and 4 y/o daughter in for their haircuts and they were able to take the kids with no issues. My wife goes there all the time and loves the job they do on her hair. By far one of the best hair salons in the Northeast. read more

I had my hair cut and styled by Rosemary and could not be more pleased. D'Saenz hair salon is warm and inviting, staff is friendly and professional, and prices very reasonable. My hair is naturally wavy and is very low maintenance IF it is cut correctly. If not it is a nightmare. Rosemary is a great stylist and gave me one of the best hair cuts I have ever had. She is a gifted hair stylist and a lovely young woman. I highly recommend this salon. read more

If a salon doesn't want to handle kids, they should say so immediately. Bottom line, my brother and his family were treated terribly at this salon when they were trying to get their 3 year old grandson a haircut before they left for Disneyland. My brother sat down, put his grandson on his lap and told the stylist they were ready, it's now or never, because he hates haircuts. Stylist said, then it's never. And left them sitting there. Unprofessional...should be taught by the owner that he let money walk out the door with his terrible attitude. It's ok if you don't want to deal with kids, but say it first and don't waste anyone's time. Management should talk with this guy before he loses the business any more money...who knows what he tells anyone else. Not cool. Save your money...go somewhere else. read more

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. My parents took my son (3 yr old) to get his haircut this morning. They went in and asked if they could cut his hair the man said yes and so my parents waited while the man got ready. A woman walked in and said her appointment is at 11:45 and it had just been 11 at the time. The man sat my son in the chair and my dad started explaining that my son doesn't like to have the white strip around his neck and the guy got mad and said "well then you want to go sit down and I'll take the client that was scheduled to get her hair done" and my dad said "well why did you sit him in the chair its now or never because he (my 3 yr old) loses patience" and the guy said "never". Literally the rudest experience my son has ever had at a hair salon and the least professional. I think they need to go back to whatever hole in the wall place they got their "license" (if they even have one) and get some more training on people skills and dealing with little kids. I'll be sure to tell as many people as I can in the northeast not to go here. The most unprofessional place I've ever been to. read more
