I purchased a 2011 Buick Enclave on 7/06/24 from D Patrick Boonville. We had only had it for 2 hours when the dashboard lit up. We returned the car to the dealership and asked for our money back. They denied the request because they said that the Indiana Lemon Law did not apply to a used car. They offered to check the car out and tell us what was wrong, they told us that it was a catalytic converter then tried to charge us $2200 for the repair. I told them that we spent all of the money on the car, we ended up paying for $500 of the repairs. We picked the car up on 7/15 from them, we were driving home from a banquet on August 2nd and the car died at a stop sign. We have the car towed to D Patrick that night, they called on Monday to say that they couldn't repair the car but they didn't know what was wrong. They don't repair Buicks. I have had to pay to tow the car to another location and I'm waiting for the mechanic to tell me what's wrong. I was told that it's most likely the timing chain that will require a new engine. I spent $8500 on the car, an additional $500 to replace the catalytic converter, and now $140 for the tow. This car has become a money pit. I plan to register complaints with the Indiana State Attorney General and the Indiana State Dealership Complaint Division. I will also post negative reviews everywhere I can to prevent someone else from being taken advantage of by this company. read more

This is the third time I've made the trip from Evansville to Boonville for service. It won't be my last. I have literally gone out of my to have my car serviced at the D Patrick Ford Boonville service department. The work was done as discussed. I received phone calls advising me of the work status. I've been treated professionally and the contacts I've dealt with have all been very courteous. I've had oil changes and other service work performed. I'm a mechanic and an engineer. I use my Mustang in competition. I don't let just anyone work on it. I will be back to D Patrick Boonville. read more

Have purchased 2 vehicles from Dpat Boonville, and the sales transaction was easy and painless. Up until now, only used service dept for simple things like oil changes and tire rotations. The most recent purchase was a new 2018 F150, bought in late 2017. It has had an issue almost since new. There is an intermittent sound coming from the front end that sounds like you dropped a spoon in the blender. It has been back to the service department twice for this issue, and of course never makes the noise when in the shop. There are no TSB's addressing the issue, so the service manager, Ryan Buehrens says there is nothing they can do. I was able to quickly narrow down the likely culprit as a leak in the IWE system (4 wheel drive system) that is causing the truck to try to slip into FWD. There are even utube videos of the sound it makes. I called the Ford Customer Care number and the rep pulled up my VIN and said the dealer had not utilized any of the resources Ford has to troubleshoot and resolve the issue, so a case was opened. Today, the case has been escalated to a Regional Ford Service office to try to get a resolution. DPatrick Ford Service in Boonville should have been way more proactive in working with the resources at Ford Motor Company to figure out how to fix this obvious defect that will be covered under warranty without me having to spend all of this time to get something taken care of. read more

Dpatrick Boonville Ford does not treat their customers properly or stand behind the products they sell. When a four-year-old Ford Fusion purchased brand new from this dealership experienced engine failure, requiring engine replacement, at 70K miles, this dealership offered absolutely NOTHING to show that they stand behind their products or care about their customers. Being slightly past the warranty, I did not expect complete coverage of the cost; a loaner vehicle or simply a reduction in the cost of a rental car would have gone a long way. They instead accused me of not properly maintaining the vehicle. Even though 4 years of oil change records from a reputable auto service center were submitted to them as requested, they insisted since I did not have the oil changes done at their service department, it was not properly maintained and I was ultimately to blame for the engine failure. After balking at a paltry offer from Ford for less than 1/4 of the estimated repair cost, the service manager and ownership gave me an ultimatum and one day to either accept Ford's offer or take my un-drivable car. Needless to say, Ford and Dpatrick have lost a customer for life. read more

They did not torque my wheel lug nuts so the wheel became loose breaking off a wheel stud. This prompted me to check the torque of everything they touched and I found a strut bolt loose when they did the alignment. I would not trust them working on a bicycle. read more

I recently purchased my first car at D-Patrick Ford in Boonville IN. on May 4th of 2015. I came to D. Patrick in search of a safe, affordable vehicle for my new family and I; the vehicle seemed to be the perfect vehicle for us! We took my car to an automotive shop as it began to develop an extremely loud abnormal sound less than 2 weeks after purchasing. After the mechanic reviewed the vehicle he found that the transmission was shot. The mechanic recommended my newborn son and I not even drive the car to the dealership for the fear of it locking up because the damage to the transmission was so severe. After hearing the mechanic say that it made me sick to my stomach. I couldn't believe such a well reputable dealership would let me and my 2 week old son drive such an unsafe vehicle off of their lot! We returned to D. Patrick immediately after receiving the news on May 18th, 2015, exactly 14 days after purchasing the vehicle. After sitting in the lobby for nearly 6 hours they gave me two options both of which put us at a major loss on this vehicle. I understand we were unable to put a warranty on the vehicle due to the year and amount of miles that are on the sedan, but I can't believe that after I had not even put 200 miles on the vehicle and had it for only 2 short weeks there wasn't more that they would be willing to do. After talking with other friends I can came across many people that have had or have known people who have had the same unfair business with D-Patrick! After deciding the most affordable route would be putting a new transmission in the vehicle the promised 2 week repair took 9 weeks. read more
