After narrowing my choices down to either a wrap or the Tru Blu bagel sandwich, a mildly spicy chicken patty, topped with cheese, lettuce and tomato, and of course, crispy bacon, well, I need not say which choice I made. Initially chosing fruit as a side, my daughter, having chosen the tots, inspired me to change my vote to the same. Served between your choice of bagel, (Asiago, in my case), with cream cheese as an option, (I chose not), and ranch dressing on the side (used as dipping sauce, again in my case) I was unprepared for perfect blend of flavors I experienced with each bite. The mild, peppery spice, atop the chicken, with the cool ranch dressing were each held in balance by the smoky, crisp bacon, with the lettuce and tomato grounding each ingredient. Held together between the soft, but chewy textured, bagel, well covered with cheesy goodness, I pleasantly observed that not even I could make a mess with it, which should be good for a star in itself. The light, mildly seasoned tots shaped, as my daughter pointed out, like puzzle pieces were tasty enough that I was able to avoid trying to arrange them on my plate, in whatever creative shape that came to mind.
