My small pension was not enough. Despite my asking, I received no helpful advice and ended up solving the problem myself, though I was charged close to 1K by the law firm for my troubles. After 3 months without hearing from them, even to find out if the TSP issue had been resolved or if I had failed making any house payments, I informed them that I was looking for another lawyer. I was not even contacted by my lawyer about my leaving. I left this incident with the firm opinion that they did not have my back and would not fight for me through the divorce process.
