He is by far the most passionate lawyer I've ever encountered -- zealous, aggressive when needed, and fully dedicated to giving us the strongest defense possible. From start to finish, it was clear that he cared deeply about his craft, his profession, and providing us with the absolute best representation. His representation remains one of the greatest investments and value received to this day! What stood out just as much was the respect he commanded in the courtroom. Even bail bondsmen and court clerks recognized him and noted how he consistently makes prosecutors work hard. That gave me incredible confidence in knowing we had the right person on our side. To this day, I remain blown away by his skill, humility, and thoughtfulness. I only hope he'll still be available if we ever need his services again -- though I wouldn't be surprised to see him rise to even higher levels in his career, which would be well deserved. I highly recommend Yancey Ellis without hesitation.

The best lawyers I have ever worked with! Hiring Jessica…read moreCarmichael was the best decision my family and I could ever make. My brother was accused and eventually charged with marriage fraud, a federal crime, and even though he was and is innocent, the prosecution was dead set on convicting him. When my brother was arrested Jessica was my first phone call and not only had she remembered my brother from a brief consult a year before, but was extremely empathetic to his situation and was ready to help right away. She brought her partner Yancey Ellis to the case and the two of them made a dream team. For the first time in months (and years) I felt I could take a breath and let them take over my fight for my brother. I've had several bad experiences with lawyers and letting go of the reigns and letting the two of them take control was a huge deal and a huge relief because they were kicking ass. Since day one of hiring Jessica and Yancey, they've given it their all and there wasn't a day, email or phone call that went unanswered. They both are very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and heavily involved in their cases. Not only did they give me peace of mind that my brother's life and future are in good hands but accomplished the ultimate results in a record time. With their amazing work they managed to get the case dismissed by prosecution and release my brother sparing him and our whole family humiliation of the trail. Myself, my brother and our whole family is eternally thankful to Jessica and Yancey!! They rock!

The charges were very serious, and we knew his future could have been permanently affected without the right criminal defense lawyer. Mr. Jenkins is a man of few words, but when he speaks it shows in action that was effective for our situation. He clearly knows how to navigate the court system. He did not make empty promises, but you could tell he understood the law and how to work through the process. Most importantly, he truly fought for my grandson and worked hard to protect his future. He treated my grandson with respect and dignity and never made him feel like he was just another case. Instead, he treated him like a young man who had made a mistake but still deserved a chance to learn from it and move forward. Because of Mr. Jenkins, my grandson now has the opportunity to rebuild his life and make better choices going forward. Our family will always be grateful for the care and dedication he showed. If you need a lawyer who will truly advocate for you or your loved one, this firm is worth calling. As a grandmother, I also know how important it is for young people--especially young Black men--to have someone who will stand up for them and make sure they are treated fairly in the legal system. Having the right attorney can make all the difference between a mistake becoming a life-long burden or becoming a lesson that leads to a better future. If you need a criminal defense attorney in Virginia who will stand up for your loved one, I highly recommend Mr. Jenkins and the team at Bynum & Jenkins Law. If anyone I know ever needed legal help again, he would be the first person we would call.

Wonderful! What I…read morehave observed is that the Alexandria legal community is a small tightly knit group well known to each other which recognizes certain individuals as experts. These experts are like gate keepers - they are recognized for their expertise and knowledge of the law by the Judges, they are recognized by their peers and they have often held prominent positions within the legal world. They will evaluate your case accurately and if they accept the representation, they are confident that they will prevail. Because of their great knowledge of the law and strong peer reputation, they move easily through the legal machine. Other attorneys recognize their expertise and sterling reputation and do not relish the thought of opposing them. These are the people you want to be standing next to when you go before a Judge. Ben DiMuro is one such person. He is a former President of the Virginia Bar. He is recognized and well regarded by his peers in the Virginia legal community. If you are accepted as a client, he has evaluated your case and believes it has merit. In my opinion, based on my personal experience, Mr. DiMuro's vast legal knowledge as well as his reputation within the legal community will greatly assist in the litigation of your case. On a personal level I found him to be amazingly patient and with a great deal of compassion. My name is Steve F, this review is based on my personal and legal experience with Mr. DiMuro.
