It's the largest on Rte. 66, second largest in the U.S.! Fun to see. Lots of different fudge to choose from. Oh, and no shortage of sodas as there are lots, I mean lots of different flavors and brands. It's safe to say that it rivals Pop's in Arcadia, Oklahoma. I heard they also sold Route 66 knives, but I wasn't able to find them. Maybe somebody already did. In the back of the store, there's a Rural King-type place in the back. There is something soothing in being in an environment that you could picture Arnold Palmer at. There was a smattering of golfing utensils available. A half dozen lightly used clubs and a few different types of golf ball sleeves. Of course some clothing branded for the course and bottled drinks to boot. I wasn't tempted to buy anything. The service was brusk but efficient. I didn't expect much and wasn't disappointed. Be prepared when you arrive.

We bought chairs for outdoor games which were very good prices and they last a long time. They have reasonable prices for all your sporting needs. We came here to compare prices for a hoop which we saw better elsewhere but overall, not bad.

4/7/2026 I purchased 2 pairs of Nikes. One of them was a pair of Nike REAX, mens size 8. I had…read morethem picked up from the store by a delivery service, I don't drive. I got the shoes, opened the REAX and they are worn, dirty and stained. There is white paint or something similar on the bottoms, on the side and top, there is what looks like splattered Cola or coffee. The laces are dirty and the inside of the shoe has fuzz and dirt. I IMMEDIATELY called the Manchester store and "Wayne" answered in the shoe department. He was 10,000% extremely unhelpful, rude and very off putting with his attitude. He blamed it on the delivery service I used, my response was they dont work for Academy, they are a delivery company. He then says well what do you want me to do about it? So I hung up and called to talk to a manager. The manager "James" was worse than the first guy, so apparently I was going to get no where with him either. So here I am, stuck with worn, dirty Nikes that I paid 100$ for! NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY NOR WILL I EVER SPEND ONE MORE CENT WITH THEM.....​​
