They then pocket the money and never show up for the job. They seem very nice and sincere when you call or visit them but the job never gets scheduled. And forget about getting your deposit back. There is always a reason why they don't have the cash. These guys are fraudsters and you will lose your deposit money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I lost my deposit but it wasn't a great deal of money. My goal here is to post valid but terrible reviews about Boba's wherever I can so that they end up losing thousands of dollars of lost business and save the good people of El Paso the pain of dealing with such unprofessional con men.

I would like to start by saying there is no option for zero stars. Had I read another users review…read moreprior then I would have stayed clear of this welding business. I had a custom rack made for .my truck and tool box that Michael Bobadilla was more than happy to take. We came up with a design agreed on a price. He asked me for a deposit, I'm assuming for the materials, in which I paid in full. I'm not sure if that's where I went wrong but it took them 3 weeks to finish a job that should have taken 3 days. He stated that there were other jobs ahead of me and I acknowledged this. However I feel as if I was put on the back burner because they were already paid and I said I had another vehicle. Communication was very poor and I was told for over a week and a half that it would be ready the next day and it kept dragging on and turning into the next day. I went as far as to bring a case a beer by to try to help the job along. Here is the issue, I went by once and found the doors unlocked and keys in the ignition, no harm I removed keys and told Michael. It was after I picked up my truck that I noticed gouges in the paint on top of the roof and around the bed. And a large amount of slag ( molten steel from the welding process) all over the roof, quarter panel windows and rear window. I told Michael the same day I picked it up, and he said he would resolve it. When I brought the truck to him he tried claiming the paint damage on the bed was either prior damage or vandalism, "he couldn't confirm that it was his employees" the window and roof is undeniable and he admitted that it was his fault. He said he would get back to me in a few days with solutions but I have since stopped recieving responses from him. Damages are in excess of $2700, back window alone was $500. I do not expect to hear back from him. I have never experienced such worthless customer service. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING ANOTHER SERVICE AROUND EL PASO AS YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Some of the welds look like they were done by high school students attempting it for the first time in shop class. IN FACT, SAVE YOUR MONEY, BUY A WELDER AND DO IT YOURSELF. You'll have less heart ache than dealing with Bobas welding. I pride myself on being a stand up citizen and all around decent person. Prices were all over the place, from $35K down to $5K. I just knew I wanted to go with his company after talking to him. He wasn't the cheapest, but it felt like I was talking to family, so I went with the good vibes. Richard totally understood what I wanted and what his company could do. He gave me options, and we talked through the plan. I was heading to Korea for a year with the Army, so he worked with me, doing the project in parts based on my budget. Even when the prices for materials went up, he explained everything. After I got back from Korea, I saw some damage on one of the boards, probably due to high winds or a storm. I sent Richard a text and some pics, and within a week, he was out here, inspecting everything and ended up replacing seven boards! He really pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work. The cost for the upkeep was super reasonable. Starting a business is tough, and it's easy for small businesses to get lost. I love supporting local businesses. Richard is a great guy, genuine, and easily relatable. He comes across as someone you've known for years, which is hard to come by these days with customer service. His team came and installed the work in a two-day period. When they completed the work, my husband sinspected it, and they did an outstanding job! They are truly professionals. They did not take a down payment. In fact, I did not pay them until the day after they completed the job! I also asked for left over paint so that touchups could be done if needed months down the line. Their attention to detail is refreshing. With that, I recommend them without any hesitation or reservation! They are the best!
