I heard of a business that assists cancer patients with wigs. This place was so amazing from the moment I walked in. The energy in their greeting had me feeling really relaxed and comfortable. Since being treated for breast cancer and loosing my hair, the wig I was wearing had been damaged. They immediately offered to see if it could be repaired. Unexpectedly they set me up to leave with a new replacement until my wig could be fix. Unfortunately my wig was beyond repair. Yet they promote themselves thru the Sonora Cancer Center as able to assist those who would like help in selecting a wig. If you want a wig, have your doctor prescribe a wig for"ALOPECIA". Loving this little salon! I recently moved here from San Diego and there are salons with $8 eyebrow wax everywhere. It is so hard to find eyebrow waxing up here, not sure why? Anyway, I went for an eyebrow wax maybe two months ago now and they took me almost immediately as a walk-in. I forget who it was, but she was very friendly and did a really good job. I then called and scheduled a haircut and they were able to get me in that afternoon with Marchelle. She did a great job! There was another stylist there cleaning her area and they were both fun to talk to. She finished by styling my hair and the whole service was not very expensive. Love this place. i have been going there for three years after trying many many places in the area. I have very very thick hair and it seems to loose the shape of the hairstyle in a few weeks. I was about to give in and go back to the bay area to see my hairstylist. Made an appointment with Debbie and never thought of the bay area stylist again. She is amazing. I receive many complements on it all the time. The place is friendly and Terry does a fabulous job...decorating the place up. Comfortable atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. The pricing is reasonable. They are part of the community and support many events. I watched them help a lady obtain a wig for her, She was very very ill and on the mend and they were so nice to this women without being fake of phony. They treated her with respect and help her with her journal of getting her hair healthy again. I would recommend them but if everyone booked an appointment with them.... I wouldn't be able to get my own appointment, ~~~ just kidding. Nice to see a clean, fun place doing a good business in these hard times. They shine. read more
