Worst haircut I've ever received. It was an absolute hack job. I had to go to another barber immediately after my appointment here to have it fixed! There were lines throughout the back of my head and they weren't even straight. When he first stopped and ask me what I thought I was shocked that he thought he was done. It looked like I had a Mark Davis style bowl cut!! I asked him to take more off the sides and off the top, he took a tiny bit off and then asked what I thought..it was not even close to what it needed to be and it felt like he was getting annoyed so i finished the haircut and left. The owner was there with no clients at the time and let me walk out of his shop with the worst haircut I've ever received. I don't know the barber protocol but I wish he would've stepped in and helped the guy...luckily I found a barber who fixed my haircut (she couldn't believe how bad it was), so I will never be back here! 2 stars because it was fixable read more

I finally found a barber in Sonora that I like after many failed attempts. Tim Horton was excellent. He was ready for my appointment as scheduled. Friendly conversation. The haircut was my first in Sonora not requiring my daughter to make repairs. He is also a licensed barber allowing him to shave my neck with a straight edge. Almost felt like being back in the Bay Area. His prices are what I expected to pay for this quality. I highly recommend this barber. read more

I've been going to this barber shop for years. The Deluxe cut seems to be the local favorite that includes a shaving creme and straight razor neck detail including haircut for $16. My boys get there hair cut here because Tim is really good at doing lightning bolts and gives out Tootsie Pops (the good ones) to all the kids. I've been going to Tim at Greg's Barber Shop for over 5 years. Both Greg and Tim are excellent barbers. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Worst Haircut in 60 years. I am not one to complain normally. After several weeks in the hospital it was time for a trim, for a feel good. The woman barber took me in order. I explained I needed a trim on the sides and long on top with some thinning since my hair is thick. She said oh, a gentlemen's cut. She took out electric clippers and sheared my head like a sheep. It took less than a minute and she shaved all my hair off. I felt shocked and violated. And the haircut was left unfinished with edges poking out in every direction. When she stopped she realized what she had done and immediately slapped goo on my head and talk about combing my hair over forward. My wife was in shock. She wanted $15.00 for a 5 minute destruction... with no apology. I paid and was shuffled out the door. I have to renew my driver's license in a month... This will probably be my last DMV photo as I am 71. Everyone who has seen the cut describes it as a disaster. This woman barber at Greg's is the worst barber I have ever had the displeasure to cut my hair in sixty years and should have her barber license revoked. read more
