I love supporting small family owned restaurants. We had 2 orders of the Parillada grilled meat platter: Short Ribs, Black Sausage, Sausage, & Flank Steak. Served with French fries and a mixed salad. My boyfriend had the Fussili Alla Matriciana - Homemade Fussili sautéed with Pancetta in a light tomato Sauce and said it was delicious. We also had some tasty strawberry mojitos, spicy margaritas, and wine as well.

There were 2 other couples when we got there. I ordered the Red Sangria that was 1/2 wine 1/2 orange juice. Not to my liking. Exchanged for a glass of moscato. He had the spicy margarita served in a short glass. which he said was ok. The wine was a little flat. Drinks were $15 each. Dinner i got the seafood special that said shrimp, scallops, lobster tail, and mussels over linguine with a pink sauce. He got the cannelloni one beef and one spinach. My entree had no price listed on the specials menu. I have never let price deter me snd I Was shocked to see it was $60. We eat out a lot but that was in no way a $60 dish. The portions were small. Seafood quality was mediocre. And the lobster tails were rock lobster. Which is a coarser meat and not as flavorful as Maine lobster. Which was misleading on the description. Overall one and done for us. In my opinion its too expensive for what they are serving.

One of my friends was more familiar with the area and recommended we come here. She ordered a plate of fried pork with tostones, some guisado de res, and white rice. The total was around $20 which was fair for the portion sizes. The guisado was a bit oily but the flavor was really good and the meat was very tender. Since the tostones did not come with a sauce, we ended up dunking them in the guisado. The tostones were on the thicker side but crispy and tasty. The fried pork was good, although maybe a little bland. The lime helped a little bit with bringing out the flavor. The white rice was good. They offer a small, medium, and large portion - small was good as a snack for 3 people. I would come back and try more of their menu items. They have a parking lot, but it was packed and the snow didn't help. There is also street parking. It is in a lively part of town, so I enjoyed people watching while eating in the car.

There's a large dining/ bar area and a takeout side with a few tables. We ordered the sancocho and rabo guisado (Oxtails), with white rice and plantains. The sancocho was pretty good. It had a lot of meat and vegetables, the white rice was perfectly cooked. I thought the sancocho had a bit too much garlic in the seasoning, but it was still great, especially since it was rainy and a bit chilly. The Oxtails were simply amazing! They were extremely tender and practically falling off the bone. The sauce was seasoned perfectly and paired well with the white rice. I've never had Oxtails this good at a restaurant. They tasted just like when mom recipe takes hours and hours to make since you want to cook it long enough for the meat to become tender. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food came pretty quickly. Prices were very reasonable. If I'm back in the area, I will definitely return and order the Oxtails.

You can place your order at the counter with several entrees made on display behind the glass counter, which is very helpful in selecting what to order. After ordering, you can take a seat and the food is served to you when ready. I stopped in here for dinner recently. I spotted the Meatloaf Dinner ($11.95 plus tax) on display, which looked pretty good and ordered it, plus a small Clam Chowder ($4.95 plus tax). Drinks are extra including bottled water. I took a seat and the Chowder was served to me very hot. The portion of chowder, served in a bowl was a lot, with creamy broth (not too thick) with potatoes, and plenty of minced clams. The Meatloaf Dinner was served 10 minutes after I finished the chowder. The dinner portion was generous which had two thick slices of firm meatloaf covered in a beef mushroom gravy, served with chunky mashed potatoes and steamed mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, yellow zucchini), the frozen kind I can find at my local Market Basket. The meatloaf with the gravy was hearty and filling, going well with the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I was stuffed afterwards and paid for my meal up at the counter. Overall, 200 Main Grill is a pretty good place to stop for comfort food in a laid back and casual setting.

That isn't necessarily a 200 Main Grill's fault. The Nachos grossed me out, a diced tomato had a cut label on it. Did they wash them before dicing? I will not be ordering from them any time soon.

Nothing like I've had anywhere else. I also like that they put their own little twist to a classic and make it their own. Like I said I haven't had anything that I haven't enjoyed so far. The fries are the lightly battered ones that are hands down the best kind of fries in my opinion but not easy to find in most places. The chicken pastelito has great flavor and the chicken is nice and juicy. The pastrami with egg is the way to go great flavors and the bread they use on the sandwiches are awesome. Perfect crunch bread holds up well no soggy bread here. I like how they press the sandwiches too. My personal favorite is the mount Zion. The best sandwich I've ever had hands down. This thing is massive and delicious from first bite to the last DELICIOUS. Value:5 These sandwiches are loaded and the size small is like a large from anywhere else. I'm afraid to order a large. The quality of the food is amazing and the quantity is outrageous too. Presentation:5 Sandwiches come nicely pressed with the grill marks. The meat is piping hot the cheese nice and melted. Everything just looks soooo tasty. Very nice and clean eating area. The multiple times I've been there I noticed as soon as customer leaves they wipe down the table and even the chairs. Service:5 Service is amazing they take care of you as soon as you come in the door. Get your order offer you a drink and they even bring the meal out to your table. Overall:5 This is a fine establishment it is now one of my favorite places in the area to eat at. Sandwiches are definitely a must but the rest of the menu is on my list as well. Can't wait to come back and try something new.
