I checked my bracelet and it had a similar first name to mine as well as a birthdate of November 1955. My birthdate is March 1974. The woman just heard my first name and said that I was there. She didn't bother to see that there were two women with similar names. Nor did she check my license or insurance ID to verify it was me. My husband asked to go home to grab something at check-in, and was told no. I finally got called back at 10:30. I was asked to go to the bathroom, and not flush. My BM was still brown. I was asked which solution I was prescribed, but I honestly did not know. Wouldn't they know if they prescribed it for me? I was also asked when I stopped taking pills, and I responded when the person I talked to through your company told me to stop. I was then told to go to the store, pick up (forgot name), and return at 1230. I went to the store as soon as I left the practice, picked up the product. Took an anti-nausea (that was prescribed) pill, and continued to drink the stuff. I believe I finished at noon. Got back to the office at 1230, where there was no receptionist. Someone finally got to me after waiting a few minutes. I told them I finished my drink at noon. They were shocked it took me so long to complete it. I had gastric surgery, so eating and drinking take me a long time. The anesthesiologist said I had to wait to be the last patient of the day because of the time I finished my drink. Completely understood for my safety. It is about 130 now. My husband had a DR appointment at 2 and asked to go there. They would end up saying yes, because he scheduled his appointment after he thought I would be home. I finally got pulled into the procedure room. I had to wait a long time for the doctor to come in. They finally started to put in the anesthesia. The Doctor then started the procedure, but didn't see that I was still awake. They had to place my IV in my other arm. Then I drifted off to sleep. While I was waiting in the pre-op room, I heard the nurses tell other patients about post-recovery. Not once did they tell me. At post-recovery, I had to ask about post-recovery. Honestly, there were to many issues with this office. I will NOT be returning.

I especially appreciated how the nurses and assistants helped put me at ease, which was important given how stressful GI procedures can be. Dr. Stephen Beasley took the time to listen to my concerns, reassured me that all would be well, explained the process clearly, and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. His calm and compassionate manner was very comforting. She said that she would call in a different prep. I also told her that when this had happened before, that I called the doctor on call to ask for a different prep and he refused to call in another prep and told me to "just drink it." I did not realize that Dr. Katta had called in the exact same prep until I tried to take it the night before my colonoscopy. She did give me an anti-nausea pill and, even with the heaving, I was able to get the first dose down. I was not able to take the second dose, however. The next morning at my colonoscopy, I informed Dr. Katta that she had prescribed the same prep and that I was only able to drink the first dose. She said she did not call in the same prep and that it was a moot point to do the colonoscopy because she wouldn't be able to see anything, so I had two options: either reschedule with a different prep and pay for the colonoscopy out of pocket (which was covered by my insurance) or, even though it would be a moot point, she could go ahead and do it, but insisted it was moot. I told her to go ahead and do it. It was obvious that she did not want to do it. Her disposition was not friendly. After the procedure was over, the nurse woke me up and gave me papers. I asked to speak to the doctor. The nurse said that I had already spoken to the doctor and that I would remember later. The nurse had just woken me up from anesthesia. My daughter was there with me and confirmed that I was asleep and the nurse had just woken me. Dr. Katta did not come in to talk with me after the procedure. I left immediately after being woken. Just to note: the prescription had Dr. Katta's name on it and everyone is aware that a pharmacy cannot change a prescription that is called in by a doctor.

He sent me for lab work... I had to call them days later to get my results! Come to find out it was something VERY serious, and they didn't even care at all. I called to get the results, and they told me what was going on. I had to call them back later on that day to get any form of medication called in for me. They never even called me back to tell me what the medication was or anything. I had to call my PCP to get them to help me. I called weeks after I finished my medication, stating that I was still in pain and needed help, the receptionist sent the doctor the wrong message. She calls me back hours later to tell me what he said. I told her that she sent the wrong message, she goes "Oh! Let me call him back. Then I'll call you back!" That was DAYS ago!!! I still haven't heard anything from him or his office staff. But I see that I have a prescription sitting at my pharmacy for something that's not even wrong with me. These people are CLOWNS!!! At this point I'm self diagnosing and taking care of myself! He needs to be the one reaching out to his patients, or AT LEAST the clinical staff. Once awake from the colonoscopy the doctor tells me, while I'm still groggy, that he HAD to tattoo my colon for a suspicious polyp. I told him I wished he had told me that was a possibility of having the colonoscopy done. I will never see Dr. Weinberg again for his lack of respect for my body. I feel invaded and was having lower abdominal cramping beginning hours after the procedure. Later I had a ulcerative colitis flair, something I've never had in my life! I ended up in hospital, pain was so bad. Another Gastro doctor told me the tattoo should have been "sub cue" but Weinberg did it "IM", so that is why I'm cramping to this day!!! I'll never go back to this facility or its doctors again as they have permanently harmed me! I cant believe the health care system has come to that of herding cattle to their demise!

I promptly called the office back no more than 1 hour later after I got off work and advised I received a voicemail about an hour ago and was told to call the office back in regards to my refund. I was told that the women worked in the billing department and had already left for the day and to call back on Wed. O received a follow up call mins later saying the woman who called me was calling to confirm my mailing address to send my refund so I gave it to the person including my apt# and she read it back including my apt# and I said yes, that's it. So I called back 2 days later on Wed. started to get the run around and was told the office was technically closed because the doctor was out of the country for 2 weeks and to call back so I waited patiently for 2 weeks and called back... long story short, I requested this office to place a stop payment on the check they said to have mailed out and let me come physically pick it up. I said I live like 15mins away from this office and I should've had my refund w/in a couple of days or so. I was told to give it another week and if I did not receive it, then they would make out another check and I could come pick it up. I waited 4 more day and the next week was frustrated I still did not have my refund and the woman then and only then told me that the woman in charge of the checks was still out of the country for 2 more weeks etc. etc. I was so irritated at this time I told her this is ridiculous and I don't see what the problem was to just put a stop payment on it and print another one. That woman called me back mins later and said they had return mail and my refund check was sent back and I could come pick it up. Inconveniently I drove there after work and when I looked on the outside of the envelope surprisingly enough they did NOT have my apt# on the mailing address which is the reason why I never received it and why it was sent back even though they confirmed my address with me prior to mailing it out. All of this could have been avoided and is so unprofessional on their part. Shouldn't have taken nearly 3 weeks for me to get my refund from this office due to their mistake leaving off my apt# after it was confirmed more than once by more than 1 person. Never visiting this office again. Had I read the bad reviews prior to my visit I would not have come here in the 1st place.
