I had to chase him down weekly and start a fraud investigation through Capital One to get a refund on November 7. We trusted the Google Reviews, which looking at them this week, look very suspicious, all the 5 stars are new accounts. We had a free estimate done and a quote sent. We paid a deposit of $1361 with the understanding the materials would be in within 3 - 5 weeks. After about 6 weeks, we inquired and were told they would get back to us. Same thing around week 8. At week 10, I took over from my kind hearted husband and pressed on why we did not have this completed. We were told the warehouse in Houston had delays but they were expecting the missing springs on Tuesday, September 9 and they would be able to install either the 11th or 12. No word from them at all. I reached out on September 16 and asked for a call back. This time it was "Adam" who I've found that his full name is Mutaz Hamad Alfroukh and is listed as the owner of this and LCLA Homes Inc both with an address of 2309 12th Street, Lake Charles, LA, 70601. He apologized and said he had sick family so it was all his fault, don't blame the techs. He would install on Monday, September 22. September 22 I texted him that were were at home and the dog was at daycare. No call, no show. September 23 After two no shows I told him that we simply wanted a refund, this company was not working for us. He pleaded that they would install by the end of the week or they would refund. September 30 - I messaged Adam for a refund. No response. *This gap was our fault for not staying on him while traveling* October 11 - Messaged for a refund and she said he would send it as soon as he was in the office. *This gap was our fault for not staying on him while traveling* October 27 - I called and he stated his accountant would looking into it because it was sent back already. November 3 - I called, out of patience, and told him that if he did not have proof, I was going to Capital One to start a fraud investigation, the LCPD, and reporting him to the Attorney General. He again blamed the accountant and told me that if we did not have it sorted out by Friday to come to 2309 12th Street, Lake Charles, LA, 70601 and they would write me a check on the spot. November 7 - I arrive at the lot and there is a for sale sign out front and realtors lockboxes on the doors. I'm not sure how long it's been since he has actually operated out of this building. I called him from the spot and told him he was a liar because the building is for sale. He said "well what does that mean? I could be selling it." I got a little belligerent and he said ok ok what is your Zelle. I'll send it to you right now while we are on the phone and screenshot it. We finally have our refund.
