He provided no estimate prior and the receipt states that he adjusted the motor on her garage door, when all he did was tighten the chain and spray lubricant. Literally 10 mins of work and he charged my mom $200. My mom and dad have used this company in the past and been happy. But, this is the first time that my mother has had to interact with the company since my father passed away a few days ago. And it looks to me like she was taken advantage of because of her age and gender and possibly her race. My mom is an elderly Asian widow on a fixed income now. As an adult daughter who lives in another state, this makes me realize that even living in a small town in Louisiana doesn't protect you from opportunists and being taken advantage of. I'm clearly going to have to keep an eye on things a bit more than I had thought. I'm very disappointed and will likely report them to the Better Business Bureau.
