I wasn't paying the $8,000-$15,000 they quoted and just bought window units. With winter around the corner was worried about being able to adequately heat my house. Called Hillbilly's A/C as last resort. turns out my problem was a bad capacitor which is what I knew already pretty much. in 30 minutes time he had it fixed up and ready to use for cold weather when it hits. price was half of what the other 3 companies charged to come out and they didn't even fix the issue. But the noise just kept getting worse, and it is not coming from outside, it is coming from inside. At thanksgiving running the heater everyone kept asking what is wrong.
