But I still needed it fixed. I called AMB for a REPAIR estimate. What we received instead were two NEW roof estimates. One for $79,455 and the second one for $66,755. This was after they took a core sample. Do your research when working on your roof. We absolutely did not need a new roof. We knew that and every other company that came out, agreed. I was not going to post a review on this ridiculous encounter until the company we actually hired to repair and reseal the roof came across the core sample. They informed us that it was not put back properly and was actually stuck back in with caulk and the caulk used doesn't even adhere to roofing materials. Had this not been found and repaired properly, we could have had serious roof and interior damage. Unbelievable. This whole experience is, at the minimum, really bad business practices. At the most, it borders on fraud and negligence. Buyer beware. Update: I obviously ruffled some feathers. lol. I initially had written a six page review, listing every single detail but decided against posting that. Nobody is interested in reading a novel. Bottom line is we called for a repair. We do not need a new roof. We needed repairs and a reseal. We discussed a repair. AMB pushed for a full, new roof quote as the "repair quote would be 50% of what a new roof would cost". My husband said fine, but that he was really only interested in a repair. Btw, I am only discussing here the house and attached garage. The detached garage is an entirely separate issue. My husband is sitting here flabbergasted at this company's response to the core sample and how it was left. Because what was said here is not what he was told on site. I stand by my review and every word. The sales person saw a big house on 12 acres and assumed deep pockets and a huge sale. Big mistake

Superior Exteriors did the roof, garage, and windows for the 2nd and 3rd floor of my house. I had a terrible leak that started from a 3rd floor bathroom window. The leak went down the north side of the house. Superior Exteriors tore out the rotted wood under the stucco that was damaged by the leak. They replaced the rotted wood. Other companies had given estimates but did not understand that the 3rd floor window was causing the problem. The work was done sloppily. They also left our front yard in tatters due to their handling of materials. Razor sharp shards of copper in bushes, shingles in trees, dead grass from hot compressors, front garden destroyed. Richard could not care less abt your property, and the condition he leaves it, he will not adjust any work if you're disappointed. I STRONGLY advise you do NOT use his service.

He was happy to explain what certain marks were on my roof and assist in submitting a claim to my insurance company. Chris came out to meet with the State farm insurance rep and I had verbal approval from the onsite rep that this shouldn't be a problem. The rep neglected to process the claim and no longer worked at state farm. Chris was nice enough to meet a second rep that wasn't very helpful and was contradicting what the previous State farm representative said would be covered. I thought that State farm would be an advocate for their customer. Luckily Chris guided me through the entire process that took over 2 years. State farm only wanted to replace a portion of my roof. They probably didn't understand that I'm a structural engineer with 40 years of experience, and a quick inspection of the roof deck revealed NO reason whatsoever to repair even a portion of the roof deck....so a blatant attempt at ripping me off over $1000- I feel for the people who don't have the expertise to assess their own roof and will get scammed by this crew....Judging by the other comments, Im not the only one disappointed by this group.
