There are no stars for this business but I had to add one to post this review. Absolute WORST customer service! I have never experienced such a deplorable attitude from the employees (Chip and Julie, specifically). My son's scooter was held hostage there for repair for months. There was no communication or feedback until you called in. When you did, you were greeted with disses and insults that your bike was a "cheap toy" and an attitude that they were doing you a favor by repairing it. Once the repair was finally complete my son's scooter still had trouble starting, and after 3 or so months, broke down completely again. We're out about $700 after parts and repair costs. Therefore, RUN, don't walk away, from this business. Look for others that will include honestly and respect with their services. UPDATE on the above - 5 min after this review posted, the owner (Julie M from Fort Walton Beach) writes her own review of her business, attempting to discount my comments. Sad and pathetic... I recently had the experience of selling my Indian Scout and buying a brand new Triumph Speed Twin. I live in Gulf Shores, and D&D Cycles is an hour away. I looked during my travels for the motorcycle I wanted in dealerships in both New Orleans and Sterling (Dulles) Virginia. Both of those dealers had similar motorcycles to the one I wanted but I preferred to buy from a more local dealer, and a smaller, more intimate one. I found seemingly better deals online but usually found ridiculous fees and prices from others that were basically bait and switch type deals. I came back to D&D and did so because of the excellent customer service from the whole staff. Julie basically handled the sale and consignment side while Rob handled my technical questions and really the enthusiastic approach to making me feel great about this particular motorcycle. I liked the one 2021 Speed Twin they had in stock, but it was not in the color I desired. I approached Julie while considering a deal/purchase with them repainting the bike in a color I wanted. We were able to come to a deal that we both thought was fair and 3 weeks later, I picked up my new, beautiful Triumph. The paint job was perfect, and the effort by Rob to make sure I knew all about my machine before I left was superb. I was thoroughly happy with the deal, the process and the motorcycle. I mentioned a consignment component as well. D&D put my Indian Scout on the showroom floor, marketed it and sold it for what I wanted within 2 weeks. This deal too, was seamless. I have not yet hit my 500 miles for my service appointment but I will update the review and include that when I can. Up to this point, I very much would recommend D&D when looking for a bike they carry. The process and deal were great. I recently dropped in to look at the new Triumph line. I've never had one, always been on Honda, Suzuki, or Harley Davidson. I met Shane on the sales floor. We discussed bikes for 45 minutes that day. He understood the riding I did and what I was missing with my current rides. I came in looking at the Bonneville T120, which is a gorgeous machine, but after our discussion Shane pointed me to the new 2018 Speedmaster. I came back a week later, took a test ride, and was hooked. I met Rob, Julie, and the rest and decided this was a dealership I wanted to be associated with. I took home the Speedmaster and could not be happier. The fit and finish on this machine is incredible, and the handling is incredible. I enjoy buying a bike from folks who like to talk, ride, and work on bikes and not try to sell you a new one every time you walk in the door. Great place. She is the reason that I left D&D after 10 years of using them. I will not pay good money for a surly attitude. Avoid dealing with this woman and you will have a good experience with D&D. Their service dept. also takes care of my other scooters, and they are the only folks I trust with my rides. I see some negative reviews on Yelp, but I am completely dismayed by them. Was in the market for a Ducati Scrambler, this dealership was the closest to me (I live in Fort Walton Beach). I called the shop one afternoon and talked to Shane on the phone and told him I wanted to come have a look at a Scrambler if they had one at their shop but told him I would only be able to arrive a little after closing. Due to traffic, I ended up arriving over an hour after the shop had closed, but Shane was happy to wait until I arrived. We talked over the bike and he literally did not make a single pitch or pressure me to buy that bike or any other bike in the shop, just talked to me about different capabilities and features on a few bikes for almost an hour. I told him I'd like to test ride one, so we arranged for me to come back the following weekend and test ride. Fell in love with the bike and left that afternoon with it. Shane was absolutely super chill and knowledgeable the entire time, never acted like a salesman. Fast forward to my first 600 mile service and worked with Emily at the service desk, and they got me in and out without any trouble. The mechanic that worked on my bike (Sean) sat and talked to me (as this is my first Ducati) for easily 10 or 15 minutes about that motorcycle and Ducati's in general. Brought my wife's bike to d and d and ask for them to check a vibration in the motor. They changed the grips on the handle bars without calling. Charged me for the grips without checking the motor. When I told them that's not what I ask for he got rude and said he had been a mechanic go 38 years. He didn't say he was a good one. Poor communication. I will not be back. read more

I have been a customer here for over a year now, and I'll be sad to leave Pensacola just for the reason that I'll no longer be able to get my 2010 Triumph Speedmaster taken care of here. Everytime I go inside, I am taken care of almost immediately and I am continually impressed by the speed and quality of the repairs and service, even when dropping by unannounced on a busy day. It's also a plus to be able to sit and stare at all the nice new Triumphs and Ducatis while I wait. Had a wonderful experience at this dealer. I live in middle Alabama and the two nearest Triumph dealers are Douglasville, GA and Pensacola, FL. I had been coveting the 2014 scrambler on the internet for about 2 months and had even set it on my calendar to travel to Douglasville, GA to give them a look the next weekend. Turns out I was in Pensacola, FL for work and got done early on Friday so I decided to check out D&D on my way out of town. From the moment I walked in Davo was very accommodating. I explained that I was down from Alabama and was looking to go to the Douglasville, GA store the next weekend. He was very patient while I climbed on the showroom floor Scrambler and then off to get on the Black T100 Bonnie and then back to the Scrambler and then to another Bonnie and then to the Tiger and then...well you get the idea. Finally, he had another scheduled appointment walk in and he very tactfully passed me to Julia or Julie, the co-owner, whom also was super patient as I continued to fear the commitment of taking home a bike. I explained that I was concerned that I had under estimated the amount of width increase on the Scrambler due to the pipes and was having a little trouble feeling comfortable with my feet on the ground. She had one of the guys bring over a front wheel brace so that I could sit on the Scrambler and put both feet on the pegs. All of a sudden the bike was exactly how I had imagined and I decided I could deal with the slight discomfort while at a stop. At this point I was sold. She started putting together the paperwork and realizing that I would not travel down for the 500 mile service, she printed up a dealer service schedule for me and arranged for her husband the Service Manager, Dink, to advise me on what to do so that I could perform my own service. They made everything super easy and helped me pick out some accessories. I never felt pushed to buy anything and the experience was more like shopping with friends. They took the Scrambler to the back to fill with fluids and test before turning it over to me. During the servicing it was discovered that the battery was bad. Davo who now was done with his other appointment let me know it would be an hour or so while they replaced and charged a new battery which allowed me to step out to get some lunch. Upon my return from lunch the Scrambler was sitting out front waiting on me. Davo took me through all the mechanics of the bike to make sure I felt comfortable. Dink then followed Davo being very patient and detail oriented in making sure I knew exactly how to go about preforming the 500, 6000, and 12000 mile service. Think I'll make the trip back to P'cola to have them service at 12000 but Dink made me feel very comfortable with preforming the other services on my own. Dink and I got to talking and he allowed me to come back into the garage area to drool over the vintage BSAs and Triumphs in the back. He even showed me some of the race bikes being readied for the next race. Davo got the Scrambler loaded in the back of the truck and I was ready to go. Overall the whole team at D&D was concerned with making sure I got what I wanted and did their best to accommodate my situation. Thanks D&D cycles! read more
