    Triumph Trident 660

I went to look at the new 400s and end up buying a 660 Trident. was easy and overall pleasant experience. Two of my kids have purchased here and now it was the old man's turn and glad I did now I'm riding off into the sunset with a smile on my face.

I recently had the experience of selling my Indian Scout and buying a brand new Triumph Speed Twin. I live in Gulf Shores, and D&D Cycles is an hour away. I looked during my travels for the motorcycle I wanted in dealerships in both New Orleans and Sterling (Dulles) Virginia. Both of those dealers had similar motorcycles to the one I wanted but I preferred to buy from a more local dealer, and a smaller, more intimate one. I found seemingly better deals online but usually found ridiculous fees and prices from others that were basically bait and switch type deals. I came back to D&D and did so because of the excellent customer service from the whole staff. Julie basically handled the sale and consignment side while Rob handled my technical questions and really the enthusiastic approach to making me feel great about this particular motorcycle. I liked the one 2021 Speed Twin they had in stock, but it was not in the color I desired. I approached Julie while considering a deal/purchase with them repainting the bike in a color I wanted. We were able to come to a deal that we both thought was fair and 3 weeks later, I picked up my new, beautiful Triumph. The paint job was perfect, and the effort by Rob to make sure I knew all about my machine before I left was superb. I was thoroughly happy with the deal, the process and the motorcycle. I mentioned a consignment component as well. D&D put my Indian Scout on the showroom floor, marketed it and sold it for what I wanted within 2 weeks. This deal too, was seamless. I have not yet hit my 500 miles for my service appointment but I will update the review and include that when I can. Up to this point, I very much would recommend D&D when looking for a bike they carry. The process and deal were great. I really feel like because they are a family-run shop, they care about the customer and work together quite well.

Many thanks to Rob, Julie and the entire staff of D & D Cycles. Your integrity, professionalism, honesty, transparency and infinite attention to details not only exceeded our every expectation but also made our buying experience the most pleasurable encounter we've had in a very long time; not to mention you built us the most amazingly beautiful ride! It's a rarity and true pleasure to find a genuinely family owned and operated business these days but you're the real deal and y'all went so far as to even make us feel a part of that family! We feel as though we not only purchased a bike but built a relationship to last the years. Randy & Kristine Kenyon

I recently dropped in to look at the new Triumph line. I've never had one, always been on Honda, Suzuki, or Harley Davidson. I met Shane on the sales floor. We discussed bikes for 45 minutes that day. He understood the riding I did and what I was missing with my current rides. I came in looking at the Bonneville T120, which is a gorgeous machine, but after our discussion Shane pointed me to the new 2018 Speedmaster. I came back a week later, took a test ride, and was hooked. I met Rob, Julie, and the rest and decided this was a dealership I wanted to be associated with. I took home the Speedmaster and could not be happier. The fit and finish on this machine is incredible, and the handling is incredible. I enjoy buying a bike from folks who like to talk, ride, and work on bikes and not try to sell you a new one every time you walk in the door. Great place. I'm thinking about adding another from here in the future.

Great staff, amazing service, and they are extremely knowledgeable. I have only used their service department for my bikes for years now.

The service writer is rude. Might've caught him on a bad day. Next time I need service will tell the tale. My fingers are crossed...

I also had all the fluids changed. Staff was courteous and attended to business like you want in a good motorcycle shop. I was very please overall with my experience except..........visitors from out of state better not expect any kind of discount on anything. I paid full pop (about $158.00 each) for both my tires, plus $148.00 for installation. No courtesy discounts here. At least not to tourists. You can get the same tires for about $85.00 online. My local tire shop will change the tires for $30.00 each. To be fair, I remove the wheels and take them to my local shop. But removing the wheels on a Guzzi is a no brainer; not worth the price I was charged. No wonder they have such a successful euro cycle shop. I felt confident that everything was OK as I departed and would return if I were in the area. But I would expect to pay out the nose. I guess that is why the dealer can keep his doors open.

My bike has spend about 6 of it's 36 months since I bought it sitting in Service. And not because of any major repairs. Nope, a few small warranty/recall items. I have all the packages, tire/wheel, preplanned maintenance, and platinum extended warranty. I brought the bike in (for the third time) to have the transmission quick fix diagnosed and repaired. I asked them to look at what seemed like a small oil leak. They said they diagnosed it as a bad seal, then told me warranty wouldn't cover it. I called Safeguard (company who manages BMWs extended warranty) who said they couldn't cover it - because someone had already "fixed" it . . . with a tube of RTV silicone. Then these jokers at Adventure gave me a bill for $1,800!!!!! For a silicone repair job. They, allegedly, BMW sent the wrong wiring harness for the bike. So my bike will be parked in the service department at least 6 weeks! While the bike and all the packages depreciate. So I stop in the store to talk to the GM, who is incidentally always too busy to talk to anyone (so it seems) unless the person is buying a bike. So I speak to one of the sales managers. She listens seemingly intently and says she understands and she will speak with the GM on my behalf. 2 days later, I call and talk to her again. She tells me (with attitude) that she doesn't have any control over what service does and she already relayed my message. They why didn't you call or message like you said you would???! In short. I switched from Harley Pensacola to Adventure largely because the service at Pensacola Harley was so unreliable and slow. Figured Adventure had to be better. Absolutely not. My neighbor warned me - said he takes his BMW to Jacksonville (6.5 hour ride) to get warranty work done. Other people said "stay away from Adventure." And I didn't listen. Now I am locked in for another 3 years as my preplanned maintenance is local only. I recommend buying a Triumph from D&D or, if you must get one of the brands sold by Adventure, travel. I am told Jacksonville has an excellent service department.
