To make a long story short, P&H was great. We had a electronics mystery problem and it took a few trials to figure out what was going wrong but P&H stuck with us through it all. From Ashley, the scheduler/phone person to Pete and John, and even including P&H's owner...they all were very supportive in seeing this issue through, even though we were a first-time customer.. We are so appreciative. This family owned company will be our first choice for any future needs we have.

Rotten egg smell came back after two weeks. We called them back out. The guy came for 15mins told me to disinfect our water heater and change the whole house filter. Charged us $70. We went to take the anode rod out to disinfect the water heater like the guy suggested and then realized when they replaced our anode rod they stripped the bolt so we cannot get it out. We also found a large dent on top of our water heater as well from when they came out the first time. Called them and ask for them to come out and take anode rod out so we could disinfect our water heater like they suggested. They said to do that it would be $80 an hour even though their technician is the one who installed it incorrectly and striped the bolt so we can't get it. I will not be charged for them to come out to correct their mistake. I will be calling another service to our house to help us get the anode rod out. Outrageous. Do not recommend.

The tech did not attempt to sell us a new furnace and was very thorough in his diagnostic. He had mentioned that the age of the Furnace was an issue potentially due to the increased chances of a failed heat exchanger. This is the number one cause of Carmen exit poisoning in homes. So he made sure that the heat exchanger was in good shape as well as the flue pipe, and went about his repair. The furnace works better than it has since we moved in! Thanks again for being honest and responsive. Highly recommend!

I had 3 contractors come out and evaluate my air conditioner on one of the hottest weeks we had here recently, I will not mention the other contractors but I do have to tell you I was very disappointed in the up front charge to diagnose the problem with our unit, not only diagnostic charge but travel charge, now I get gas prices are high but this contractor is only 6 minutes up the road and they still added $50 to the charge, they left without fixing the problem and were pushing us to buy a new unit. The young man that came to our house from Allyson at no charge, diagnosed the problem and fixed it that same day for a lot less than the others wanted, very professional and easy to talk to, I just have to mention that I also bought a new thermostat from him that he installed that day and came away costing me less than what the others were trying to charge me just to replace the motor on the unit. I will be recommending Allyson to everyone I know in the future, you would be wise to call them before you waste your money with the others in our area (Burton, Mi.).
