A few months ago I hired another service to do a deep clean with the intent of making it a more regular thing if I liked the work. But they were dismal! I ended up spending a few hours cleaning after the two guys they sent out missed a bunch of stuff that was promised. The products they used smelled so strong and lingered for days, giving me a headache for a week afterwards. It was my first time ever hiring a cleaner, though, so I thought maybe my expectations were just too high, culminating in a pretty disappointing and discouraging experience. Absolutely Clean was my second attempt at finding a service and the difference between them and the previous company was night and day. I had booked just a general cleaning this time, and Aksana did a better job than the "deep cleaning" the other company provided at 1/4 the price and 1/2 the man-power! She was extremely thorough and meticulous, cleaning things and areas I hadn't even expected her to. She even got stains off my oven that I had long given up on. She was very sweet and professional as well. The products she used did not smell bad and the scent was mostly gone by the end of the day. This will definitely be my go-to from now on when I need a little extra help.

They "offer" to come back, but it usually wasn't even worth the headache to have them come back because they would just do a bad job again. Scheduling is a nightmare; they almost never show up on time and do not provide any communication about when they will show up. I regret we used them as long as we did. They charged us an outrageous amount for a move out clean that left so much unfinished (see pictures) that we had to hire a completely different set of cleaners on extremely short notice. The Bad:(more of a company issue than cleaner issue, Ariel was lovely) Initially I had some issues with communication during my booking process but those seem resolved now. A few small things below my expectations like the odd missed dust ball or counter crumbs. NBD. I do find it a bit odd that the company (not the cleaning staff) asks for 5 stars reviews with what feels like a guilt trip - that money will go to the cleaner. I want that for her, but definitely think that practice is unprofessional. I think the owners should not be requesting a specific number of stars or even disclose the bonus to the cleaner.
