D'alessandro & Sons Auto center is the best auto repair shop around. From the moment I walked through the door up until the moment I left; I was treated with nothing but honesty and respect. At the time I had multiple problems with my car, once I had a collection of quotes from other auto repair shops in the area, I found that D'alessandro & Sons Auto center was the most straightforward and offered the best prices. I work in the Montclair area, I was able drop my car off at D'alessandro & Sons Auto center in the morning and in one day they were able to tune my car up, replace the alternator and timing belt, all before I was out of work. Since then I have had no problems with my car and it runs great. This company's genuine care and consideration for a person's time and money along with the reassurance they offer (making sure the customer knows exactly what is wrong with their car and what needs to be done to fix it) makes it easy for me to say I will definitely be returning there if I ever have any other car issues. After reading a few poor reviews on D'allesandro & Sons Auto Body, it was a must I share my experiences with the business and their employees. It has always been tremendous. I drive an older car, '96 Audi A4, which unfortunately gets more work done than i'd like. I go to Greg D'allesandro for any and all repairs without hesitation. Why? The customer service is above par and they perform quality work on my vehicle. When I think of an authentic body shop, their shop on N. Willow in Montclair fits the script. Talk about customer service, I broke down in Verona by Verona Park one evening this past summer and my car was not starting, Greg came out after hours to my location reconnected two loose spark plugs free of charge and I was on my way. It is hard to come by people of that nature nowadays, hence why I give them my business. If you spend time hanging around the shop, you can even get some quality baseball talk while you wait. Top Notch Service!!! I had my 2010 BMW serviced at the dealer 3 times with no satisfaction! Spent over $1800.00 for tune up and computer programming. Check engine light continued to come on. I was referred to Dalessandro Auto by a friend and figured what do I have to lose. After dropping my car off a few hours later Greg called and explained what the problem was. I asked since I paid 1800 for previous work if he would guarantee the work and he agreed. After getting my car returned its been 2 months now with no issues. These guys are the real thing!!!!!! Excellent Service. Brought my 2004 Lexus ES330 in for service. I was told by another shop that needed a water pump as it was leaking. The other shop said it would be a couple of days before they could repair it as it was a large job and required some labor to complete. I needed the car to travel and could not wait that long. I took it to Dalessandro & Sons Auto and Greg the owner said he could complete it the next day. Car was completed as promised and they even washed it for my trip. Could not ask for better service. The guys were absolutely fantastic. Had a new battery installed right before my inspection and it needed to be broken in so the sensors would work and the car could be properly tested. They even helped me drive it around to get it to trigger. No charge, just took the time because they cared. Completely trustworthy, friendly, knowledgeable and affordable. This family owned auto center is well run and has very competent mechanics. They are not the least expensive out there, but they really know what they are doing and are very professional. They will pick up and drop off your car in necessary and are very easy to work with. They will explain in laymans terms what needs to be done and are honest about what needs to be done and what you could put off for a while. My car broke down while visiting my family a week ago, the owner Greg was really nice and he assured me that he would make the repairs as soon as possible to make sure I was able to make it home in time and that he did. The prices were very cheap compared to Rhode Island auto centers. My aunt and uncle have been living in Montclair for 5 years and they say there is no better auto center in the area. They make repairs in a timely fashion, answer my questions with courtesy and respect and do not encourage unnecessary work.
