Not a good haircut. I went in to get a razor fade, and I really liked my experience there overall. About an hour later I noticed something. My fade on one side begins a full inch lower than the other. Not acceptable. read more

This place is where you can spend hours just listening to the barber. He might as well be a comedian with his humor and delivery. Tim is hilarious to say the least. Logan on the other hand is a bit subdued which plays well with Tim. If comedy were music, Tim would be a full brass band! What I like now is that you can make an appointment rather than waiting. I've not been since that is an option so Friday I will check it out. I have been going to this place for at least 20 years. The reason of going for over 20 years, is that every time I get a haircut there it is exactly what I want. I really don't have to say what I want anymore. So let the comedy begin! This place is a joke. There was a line of people right when they open. I was the fifth person signed in after everybody else. There was only two barbers. They took the first two customers so I came outside to make a phone call. I was outside for less than 5 minutes then I came back in to sit down at that point the barber with the tattoos told me I lost my place in line because I didn't tell him I was going outside. Keep in mind they we're still on the first two customers with three people still in front of me from the beginning. The guy with the tattoos was a total jerk. I don't know what his attitude is but he was a complete asshole. He's a barber not a lawyer give me a freaking break. Cypress Square Barber Shop is a joke read more

I personally go to Tim, but all three gentleman who work their will take good care of you anytime. What I like about Cypress Square is the quality of the cut. I am sure that it has to do with the fact that they cut mens hair non-stop all day... But truly that is a benefit when you are looking for an incredibly high quality mens haircut. The prices are incredibly reasonable. (So good it makes it easy to leave a nice tip). All in all, I have several friends who now go hear due to my recommendation & if you have never been, I would highly recommend. They can handle any age & any hair type, I have seen it all while in the chair & they never skip a beat in this shop! read more

I recently moved to the Redding area from the Portland Metro area. I am a military guy and am very particular about my hair. In my experience, the further you get from a military post the more difficult it is to find a barber that can do a decent fade. These guys are the best in Redding. How do I know this? Because I went to ALL THE OTHER BARBERS in the area first and was disappointed, then found these guys. Decent price, good atmosphere, military friendly. I never go anywhere else now. Tim Sr or Jr are both excellent. If you are military there is no substitute for this shop. read more

I have been going to this Barber Shop for 30 years. It used to be called Ray's Barber Shop with Barry and DC sitting second and third chair respectively. Ray retired and DC took over bringing his son Tim on board who chased away Barry lol. DC has since retired and Tim is in charge with Logan sitting second chair. Both are great barbers, but more than that great men who care about our community and Country. I highly recommend this barber shop. read more

Old school barber shop. No sign of any woman influences. Get your haircut in silence without having to talk much. I got a haircut and my beard trimmed and came away happy. They also shave around the ears and trim the eyebrows, which many men desperately need. :) read more
