I've been cut by every barber there, and they all take their time, make sure to understand what you want, and have very reasonable pricing. Shop atmosphere is always good and the place is always clean. Recently moved out of the area and I'm honestly bummed I won't be able to get my regular cuts with Zeke. If you're looking for a place to start coming regularly, this is it.

Rather than him getting a fade it was a 1 all the way up. I didn't worry much at the time, as the wedding we are in is still 2 weeks away. Anyways she gets done with my 2 year old and I asked her to clean up my one year old. That consisted of trimming the hair around his ears and in the back (took all of 1-2 minutes). After a tip the total was 30$. I thought it was rather pricy considering they are 2 and under. Anyways. I didn't notice how bad his cut was until I got home and styled it. So like I said at the beginning of the post I did not call and just fixed it the best I could on my own. If this is all you do, and the price is that high, they should be amazing at fades and men's/boys haircuts.

My husband even started going to Joe after years of going to a popular place who would always mess his hair up. He gets a very simple haircut and even has his beard cut/cleaned up too. When I've been there they have always taken walk ins, even when very busy-they will fit you in if possible. They make it fun and entertaining. It was very well worth the 26 mile round-trip from Redding for the experience and the haircut. If you like authentic barber chairs, good conversation, authentic small-town feel in vintage barber shop building from the 1800's, then you'll love Woody's place! Jennifer did a fantastic job cutting my hair. There was no waiting when I arrived, but, given the conversational atmosphere, I would have gladly waited. I just found my all-time favorite barber shop and look forward to the my next visit!
