I've been a patient of Cypress Dermatology since high school back when they were in a different building. As someone who's riddled with skin issues, Cypress Dermatology has consistently been the one office that has helped the most. Dr. Little has helped me so much with my eczema to the point where I forget I even have it these days after being prescribed Dupixent based on her recommendation. I've even done allergy shots here which was a simple process. Very clean, large office with lots of parking and accommodating for those with disabilities. The medical assistants here are always friendly. I've had no issues with scheduling or insurance. Lots of dermatologists here so you can be seen relatively quickly. read more

Dr Campbell is amazing. Great caring person. I feel lucky to be paired with her as her patient. My condition is chronic and makes me emotional and I feel very heard by her. My condition was ignored by Kaiser when I lived in California and spread all over me. She wrote a letter to my insurance and with a bit of a push from me I am getting full coverage for an issue that makes me feel disgusting and has controlled my life for decades. Went to an evaluation for two Pilar cysts on my head. Was asked to make an appointment for the removal. I went to my surgery appointment today. Once I was in the room they informed me they could only remove one, and if I wanted the second one removed I would have to pay out of pocket. It was all confusing. I have had this procedure done before at another dermatologist and they removed 3 at the same time. I got up and left. The staff was a bit rude. I called BCBS Federal to verify coverage and they explained that everything was covered but that the doctor would only get paid once. They said the doctor wanted to charge for two visits, two copays of $150 and collect for the rest of the surgical procedures twice. They found this to be of not good practice. I talked to the office manager, who called me after investigating what had happened, and she said that it was office policy that the doctor chooses to do it like that. They also changed my appointment to earlier because the doctor wanted to leave for the afternoon. I have been a patient of this office for years and I had never experienced anything like this. They have changed for sure and they have a big communication problem. Be mindful and ask all questions at your first appointment so you don't get surprises like we did. If you have a lot of time to wait.... I arrived 8 min early even thought I typically arrive 10 min early for Dr. Appointments. Mid morning and the waiting room is full for four Dr's. All we needed was two small spider angiomas lasered, but because it was our first visit with them, they decided we needed a 'medical' consultation. We were seen by Dr. Campbell, who took about 1 minute to confirm that they were angiomas and, while they were checking to see if someone could laser them, they had us pay $160 at the checkout. They then said that the girl who does that was off and obviously Dr. Campbell didn't know how to do it. So we left the office out of $160 and nothing done! They won't even credit the monies if we schedule to come back...that's gonna cost another $250 and they want $50 down before they will schedule it! They claim the $160 was the insurance deductible for the 'medical' evaluation which we knew was not needed. Who even attempts to get insurance coverage for cosmetic needs? Pathetic!! Dr. Hau performed a mohs procedure. She is very kind Dr. and has a nice bedside manor. Her staff however is very poor. It took over one hour for a bandage to be applied by 2 different individuals and it fell off within 6 hours. The wound was examined at one week by Dr Hau and nothing further was prescribed. The area never healed properly and I needed to see a plastic surgeon for further care. read more

I had a good experience with this practice. The office is in a Memorial Hermann building in Cypress and is clean and modern. The parking is kind of limited, so come early to find a spot. The Doctor I met with was quick and knew how to treat my condition right away. Nothing extra special or not special about my meeting with her. The nurse was nice and personable. First time patiences need to leave a $50 deposit when scheduling an appointment. They use it towards your final bill. read more

Stay away from This place !husbdand was there to remove a small lymphoma from his back ..cut him open like a major surgery..the actual dr the was supposed to do the procedure was not there ..another person had to do it that looks clear to my didn't know what he was doing ..after the stiches heal he was a big scar in the back and a hole in his back ..horrible Work .don't waste your money ..all they Care is the you have good insurance we did have ..don't care about patients .just money ! read more

The staff at Cypress Dermatology are absolutely amazing! From the moment they greeted me at the door they made me feel comfortable and welcome. They go to extreme lengths to make sure that they are following proper COVID-19 protocol. This is the very first time I have ever had Botox and I am extremely pleased. Dr. Downey and his assistant Kaitlin listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease during the procedure. I made an appt with Dr Campbell about laser co2. upon arrival I met with a nice lady whose job was to explain to me how painful the procedure was and to take my money and that i should understand that I would Not get a refund for any reason If I cancelled. I left having Never seen dr Campbell. I went to the procedure a month later and the aestetitian was very nice and help prep me and said Dr Campbell will be in shortly to give me nerve blocks. She comes in and dosent say hi or kiss my a&$. Gives me the shots and says I will be back. At this point I haven't even met this woman. Not impressed. Called to schedule an appointment. I was told I'd have to pay $50 up front to hold my spot. I found it strange. This is the only dermatologists' office I've ever experienced to handle business this way. I assumed the charge would stay pending until A) my appointment got closer B) I missed my appointment. I ended up calling to cancel my appointment a week in advance. They still charged the $50. I'd like to note that I looked at all of their payment policies after scheduling, and no where do their policies suggest anything about $50 upfront to simply make an appointment. The only thing their website says is that one must call in a "reasonable timeframe" to cancel or reschedule, and that one will be charged for a *missed appointment. Also, they are the only office that is STILL mandating masks. Hard pass altogether. I go to a wonderful dermatologist in the Woodlands well worth the drive. read more

I have seen Dr Hamill three times and felt very comfortable on each visit. She is very attentive, easy to talk to and discusses treatment options openly and thoroughly with you. I have some precancerous areas on my face and she was thoughtful enough to suggest I wait until after all of the Thanksgiving visits. She generally cares about you as a person. read more

Five stars for the dermatology side of this business. The doctors and staff are great and I highly recommend them. But if you're looking for a facial, I don't recommend you get it here. After two years of no facials due to covid, I thought I'd treat myself to a high-end facial (after all, I love their doctors.) Sorry to say, the facial didn't live up to the price. Mediocre. Cypress Dermatologist NOT professional @ all, from the phone call to their check-in system. They have like 10 assistant upfront NOT very well trained@ all!!! It's HIPPA violation how they're expecting you to share your D.O.B & last name outside in the hallway while other people are just walking around. They would not send in check-in through text but will text you to cancel your appointment if you don't confirm with in 24 hours. They have 10-15 check assistants they come out to their front door and ask you for your personal information in front of other people outside, unacceptable. Expressed my thoughts on that to Dr. Downing after he walks in to see me, he totally disagrees with me and proceeds to tell me that if I'm not satisfied with their "system" and him that they do not have to see me if I'm that uncomfortable. A: never said I wasn't satisfied with his work ( but now I am) B: yes it's a VIOLATION to ask patients outside of your office their DOB & last name!!! Will NOT be going back, people need better training & Dr. Downing needs better bed side manner! Very very unsatisfied patient! The disorganization of staff--in regards to making appointments and tracking referrals is horrible.

I was recommended to this place because they were supposed to work well with kids. They did fine as all were nice, but the doctor really didn't listen to our concerns and what her primary care suggested based on her symptoms. They wanted us to get a $300 out of pocket blood work done, instead of really looking her over. They didn't even look at the other problem areas on the skin to get a round about idea. Passed on the lab because my gut was telling me to take my kid elsewhere. Was not impressed at all. Lack of concern and would rather have the money. Plus labs were not clear and the lab tech had to call multiple times for us to get a response. Office seemed very disorganized and lacked flow (facility itself). read more

I have never met or spoken to Dr Campbell. I went to an Open House at her office and pre-paid for a procedure that I really wanted to have done. When I went for my appointment, I found out it was contraindicated for my chronic autoimmune condition. Since I was unable to have the procedure done due to medical contraindications, I requested a refund of the money I had paid her. Dr. Campbell has refused to return this considerable amount of money stating it is her office policy that she does not make refunds. My neurologist has written to her advising that I not have the procedure done and still she refuses to return my money. This may be legal but in my opinion it is highly unethical, especially for a physician. DO NOT PAY HER ANY MONEY UNTIL SERVICES ARE RENDERED! read more

I will be moving to Arizona and wanted the growths looked at. Very disappointed in Cypress Dermatology and their XTRAC services. I was excited to try out the 10 sessions in hope to relieve my psoriasis. Alas, I can't finish the treatment plan due to exorbitant over-pricing and inexperienced young assistants. XTRAC made the first appointment for me and even provided a $500 rebate coupon to use *after* the 10 treatments. Cypress Dermatology insurance rates are $250 per visit (one minute of UVB light) and my co-pay was $90 for the first four appointments (Googling shows other dermatologists advertise $150 - $160 per visit). The next six appointments were not covered by my insurance. I asked for the cash price which they said was $75 per visit. Except, they then informed me they won't offer that to me b/c I "have insurance." They wanted me to pay $250 per visit. Highway robbery for a one minute visit where a 22 year old being paid probably $12 per hour holds a UVB Light on four areas of your skin. Every appt it was a different young assistant and all three did it a bit differently - some wore goggles and offered them to me, one did not, some used the shield to keep the light off surrounding skin, one did not. The pricing of $250 per hour is outrageous. A trained technician seems more appropriate since blisters and burning apparently happen frequently. I was told that they keep upping the strength of the light until you blister and then stay at that strength. Suffice it to say that I would not recommend this office which charges more than most, and cares more about profits than healing patients. read more

This is a mixed review. I've had great experiences with the drs, love them. Today I had a cosmetologist appt at 11. Being courteous I got there at 10:45. I understand there are multiple groups there so people come at go differently. But after everyone coming and going ahead of me at 11;45 I ask about my appt. i waited long enough for someone to check and get back with me but that never happened. I finally just left. I have written in detail about Dr. Downing in an earlier Memorial Hermann review. At that time, I was there for a total skin related check up, and he was- in my experience- magnificent in so many ways... So cautiously thorough, with a remarkably sincere and gentle bedside manner. They are Extremely careful in taking all precautions during this current pandemic and it is so appreciated by everyone!! And just when I thought things couldn't get any better at Dr. Downing's... I went to try out his Botox skills. I am new to Texas - and you gals out there know how ever so important it is for a doctor to get this (or any filler-injection) right the first time!! I was quite nervous to be honest; but again, he was so gentle and calm- and his unwavering confidence won me over. I have very light skin which bruises easily, and to my splendiferous surprise...not a single one; nor any in the days that followed:-) Also, Dr. Downing has the most adorable tech assistant working with him named Caitlin. She is unbelievably attentive and wonderfully efficient. I never feel rushed - or leave, feeling that any of my questions or concerns were not fully and thoroughly answered. Dr. Campbell is very good, however the cosmetic department is NOT. When purchasing a product, I asked specifically about a particular product and the ingredients and was given incorrect info. They are not knowledgeable about their products at all. They refused to accept a return even though it was THEIR error and the product was unopened with seal still intact. I learned my lesson and will not be purchasing from them anymore. I looked around but did not see a "No Returns" sign, so if they do have one it is not very noticeable. read more

I arrived and still had to wait in lobby. and they then called my name, but it wasn't to check me in, they wanted to book for another day. Took my 9yr old in arrived early to do lengthy paperwork which alot did NOT PERTAIN to a child. We spent like 40mins waiting to be seen and Dr Lee just barley spent like 4min tops with us. I waited 30+ minutes to even been seen, mind you, I got to my appointment 10 minutes early. they require you to text a number before going in, but they don't even check that so I walked in anyways and THEN I was finally checked in. I have been seeing Dr. Campbell to treat my horrible acne with accutane for a few months now and she has been very informative and usually answers questions before I can even ask them. In my previous experience with Dr.'s visits I always feel like they are in a rush or hurry but with her it's different, she always remembers me and picks up the conversation where we left off which is really special and important to me. (Her jokes aren't half bad either). Her whole staff is super sweet and professional aswell, my nurse is usually Josh and when they are in the room the visit feels like I'm with friends rather than a doctors visit.
